Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io.
The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?
Friday Night Funkin' is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. A full version of the game is currently in development, having been successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Check the changelog here for information on the latest updates. The game is also open source to allow users to mod or simply look through its assets. Download the game files here.

Can’t believe you played the boulevard song without getting death-triggered, since there is a RNG trigger that makes the dude punch you and kill you in the middle of the song, its just luckiness to complete the full song. Dope to see ya playing it.

i think i was able to dodge it somehow LMAO, i hit a note as soon as he tried to punch me and me getting health back blocked it, thats why my hp was so low at 25:35

Hey guys, i play fnf on mobile and i downloaded this mod but, when I played Boulevard, before the music started, a .lua error screen appeared, and i never get punched in the middle of the song, can you guys tell me what's the problem with my psych engine mobile?

@@this_is_a_bully.I'm guessing what happened is that the punch has been coded with lua, but that lua code probably dosent exist in psych engine mobile so it just, dosent load.

i love how jeans mimics the way pico and bf compliment each other in week 3, bf still kind of copies pico but with actual notes of course (for the part where gf sings with chromatics)

All songs were fire (expect miss-me 💀) but if I had to choose one as my favorite it would be Kevinteenbucks just for the notes fitting the beats real good and ofc the music.

I think the instrumentals are too much, but the vocals are good. Yeah this is a very cool mod, because it has some... how should I describe the songs? Like they are really good, but they are also... themeless. They feel like the composers just sat down and made heat from scratch. They are also a bit goofy
