I didn’t even like football until the age of 9 and didn’t join a football club until I was 11, 2 years later I’m one of the key players of my local side. It feels good to reach this level after the rejection and hate I’ve received, I’ve just got to keep going and not develop an ego like the players around me. I thank my semi-pro dad and my coaches for all I’ve been able to do, if it wasn’t for my first coach who coaches my first club thinking I’m a CM, I would’ve never done this well. Thanks for the video Oskar, you help me so much!

i grew up in the UAE and Qatar and was surrounded by people who loved football while i didnt like sports at all until i turned 10 and started getting into football. I knew how to do a few skills within 3 months while it may have taken a year or so to get those skills for other people but I had a very big problem and it was me being overweight. I didn't even join a team until I moved to Pakistan where i joined a local team at age 14 and since i was pretty fat they put me in defence but now its been year since I joined this team and i am currently a key player for the U-18 team as a LB, still working on losing more weight, was at 85kg at 14 to now 70kg at 15.

I only gained interest in football at 10 and at 12 had played for 2 Sunday league clubs. I am now a vital cm and soon will go on free trials if scouting doesn’t go well.

I growed up with a family that has football blood, my grandpa playef football my uncles played football, every single person in my family has played football, at 3 i met football for the first time, at 6 i started playing it and at 9, i started to take it serious, at just 12 i was on my schools team and was already a top scorer, but some of my friends started playing basketball, and i got interested by it, i started playing it and got good, but on my heart i just FELT that i HAD to be a football pro, im 13 now and i tried to play football again and I still have that mentality and intelligence, but my moves are slow and not as fast as i used to be, im practicing and im started to see that prime i used to have, who knows i will join back to my school's team again, and i will NEVER, and i say this with my life, NEVER abandon my dream, which i belive will not be a dream in a few years, do you have any advice for me? I would really appreciate it, lots of Love from mexico ❤

I think I relate to son because I live in the United States Shreveport Louisiana where soccer/football ain’t all that popular mainly basketball and American football but I do play for my local club cabosa united even though I don’t play for the competitive team I play for the rec team and I put in so much work so I can one day become a pro and since I’m a kid I can’t move out of Louisiana to go to Europe or go to a different state that might have more soccer/football opportunities but I still put in as much work as I can

Two of my favorite books, for slightly different reasons are “Relentless” by Tim Grover and “Atomic Habits” by James Clear so definitely check one of them out, if not both! 📚

I play as a winger/outside forward but I have also played as a striker and even wing-back and full-back. I can definitely make a video on it, but at the same time you should know that the more versatile you are and the more positions you can play, the more reason the coach has to play you.

I’m 20 but I have not had any formal club or experience playing professional football, I’m not the best but I know how to play decently but I have ever only played friendly games with an unofficial club a couple times with my friends, I don’t know what to do to make it to the pro leagues. Do you think I can still make it? I’m willing to do anything even training 20 hours a day if it requires it. Can you give me some advice?? Thank you so much man❤

I played football almost all of my childhood from the age of 10 to 17 as a goalkeeper and I was very good I was always the best in my school but I had a four years I stopped playing and Im overweight now unfortunately when I was young I never took football so serious it was just for fun and now I'm 17 I really want to be a pro player that's my dream and I'm working on it so hard I try my best all the time I really doubt my self a lot because I have a very long way especially with my family pressuring me to study all the time to become a doctor or something great... But I really don't wanna go that boring direction. I forgot to mention I switched my place from GK to CB I think Im better now on that position and I have the potential cuz I'm tall and strong and I know how to read players movement and tackle. what do you think your answer would really change my life.

Unfortunately you can’t believe in miracles. If you don’t have an adequate football formation by 17, then it is too late. Think of all the 17 year olds right now, people YOUR age that are playing in club academies in every single country, and how some of THEM are not even making it pro. It’s ok to not go pro. You still have a right to enjoy football
