Sticker Shock Auto Insurance is 3 to 4 times of my last state just for liability Auto Registration/taxes is about 2x from my last state. Don't recommend buying a house the first year until you learn the areas and get grounded. (Big Location Decision). First - Find a nice condo, with gated security, where the owner is who you deal with the first year. (I found one and the owner and I are now friends) - Less than $1500 a month, 2br/2bath. Know before you go- so research apartments, condo, houses for rent months ahead of time. Rental prices have gone up substantially since 2021 making Las Vegas a hub in the affordable housing crisis. It now takes a six figure income to qualify for a mortgage- no joke. Be aware that auto insurance is very expensive due to a much higher than normal drunk & high driver fatality problem. There are too many bars/pubs/liquor stores off the strip so you must be careful driving between 10pm-4am. There's a shortage of doctors, both general practioners & specialists so it's common to have to wait months for an appointment.
Good tips bro. I lived in vegas from 2019 to 2020. And i was moving back in vegas this year. But i am waiting till next year in march to move. This time i am driving out there. And looking for a place February.
Also Gershon in another video can you mention for seniors, silver sneakers will pay for gym memberships and you can get a park pass for ppl with disabilities.🥰
Las Vegas Nevada is good. I live at Las Vegas for 8 years I like it. 4 years at Summerlin beside Red Rock 🪨. 1 year at North Las Vegas. My Favorite 😍 Is Centennial Hills I live there for 3 years. Open Carry is cool 😎 I love ❤️ it. Gun friendly State. I miss Vegas. I just left because I need to move in Miami Florida. For work.
My advice for anyone thinking about moving to Vegas is simple. Living in Vegas is NOTHING like that weekend trip you had for your brothers bachelor party. If you have a Drinking Drugging Alcohol Gambling or sex addiction ..... you won't last long in this city, I have been here sense childhood. I've seen so many move here only to go bankrupt or leave within months of arrival to our city!
Great points - I touched on this in the video I did on why not to move here. If you have an issue with your vices and deal with addiction, then this is not the best place place to live!
We do have scorpions but I rarely see them or hear about them from others. I know that’s confirmation bias, but I’ve only encountered a scorpion once my whole life living here. Pest control is pretty common and affordable here too and takes care of the issue
