Video Series on Managing Active Directory Certificate Services:
This video tutorial will guide you through generating a self-signed certificate with SAN (Subject Alternative Names) using Windows PowerShell in Windows Server 2019.
Note: We are not able use IIS manager to create self-signed with SAN.
Steps:
1. Open Windows PowerSehll (Admin).
2. Type cmdlet New-SelfSignedCertificate -DnsName (dns_name_you_want_to_include)
e.g. New-SelfSignedCertificate -DnsName "www.mylab.local","mylab.local","ws2k19-dc01.mylab.local"
3. Press enter key and wait for cmdlet to complete the execution.
