While dive watches are without question the most popular type of sports watch out there on the market, they also tend to be on the larger side, a real bummer if you happen to have a smaller wrist. In this video, I’ll share some of the best dive watches you can get with dimensions to fit perfectly even on the smaller-wristed watch enthusiasts out there.

Same here im sick of hearing about them. I own 2 and to be honest they are not worth the hype or price. It just their name has been so tied to luxury and thinking its the best of the best and they have the world watch people and none brain washed. Hell they had to take a movement from another company modify it some and us it in their watch thats bs for a company that has the world brain washed. Only thing they know to do new these days is make the case a smidge larger or lazer etch shit on a dial. The only thing they have been able to sell in many many MANY year is their name not there innovations cause that dried up years ago. And honestly my omega is 10x the watch my Rolexs are

The certina action diver is also an amazing option for under 1k the 38mm version, it has a sub vibe, but with it’s own attitude, is ISO certified and anti magnetic due to a nivachrom spring, last time i checked it was around 8p0 to 950 USD

I’d rather go with the former. The Tag is marketed for women. I know this doesn’t mean that a man can’t wear it, and I generally don’t care about what others think, but it bugs me when a watch is specifically marketed for a gender (even when there is a lack of “gender characteristics” and is only based on size): it’s like the brand is making it official that it is meant strictly for a gender. Doesn’t this bother you? Edit: I’ve checked the Tag once again, and I am now convinced it is indeed a woman’s watch so the label by Tag is justified (the blue one has diamonds as indices - definitely not my definition of a man’s tool watch). The black dial is ok I guess...
@ajiebkp
@ajiebkp 3 года назад
@@kencur9690 It bothers me that as a brand they make distinctions between male/female watches in their marketing. As a product, however, it doesn’t. *still wont go with the diamonds hour markers but that’s a preference

Great list. Just an aside, the Vostok was just tested on the "Beyond the Press" channel where the wonderfully entertaining couple that run it, tested the Vostok in a pressure chamber and despite the 200m water rating, it actually got to 80 bar before stopping! Incredible. Even more incredible was the cheap pulsar oil filled quartz which unbelievably survived the maximum 300 bar the chamber would reach. I definitely recommend the video and the channel!

Pro tip if you worry that the Orient Kamasu might still be too big: Go for the version with the retro dial. The round luminescence circles do not extend as far to the boarder. Therefore this version will appear even smaller compared to the regular version.

Love your videos! I’ve been reading the comments. I don’t know how people with small wrists are able to pull off wearing larger watches. I have a 6 ¾ inch wrist and consider anything over about 38 millimeters huge, not just from the size but the weight. I don’t like to be constantly reminded I’m wearing a watch. That’s also why I prefer bands over bracelets. I would love to see content on one-handed watches. So, please do more content on small watches.

might be a surprise to hear, but the seiko jdm discontinued market place has doubled in price and then some over the last year. the skx007 and skx013 used to be the mod watch everyone would buy for less than $200. a perfect watch to try to learn how to service an automatic too. now both are priced around $500-650. the same price increase has happened with the sarb market, another discontinued jdm seiko series. the sarb035 was easy to find for $300 a few years ago. it now sells for around $1000. i've seen sales for $1200. loved the video, just sharing this bit of info in case this market change has gone unnoticed.

That longines with dual crowns is stunning, shame about the small size though for those with bigger wrists

As a female watch lover, I appreciate the smaller watch coverage.

You are absolutley right about Orient calibers. I have 5 of them, and they automatically wind better than Seikos. Hand winding and hacking to boot. Strong stuff, and mine pack a 46-hour power reserve.

The competition is kinda brilliant. 1500$ to get almost anyone who watched to browse the merchandise, actually take note of costs and get a solid look at what your customers actually like with thier picks.

In the 1-2K range, there’s the Orion Calamity at 39.5mm. Looks like a nice series.

Great videos. I enjoy hearing about all the brands you highlight. I often learn about a brand I didn't know about before. You are on point about the lug to lug factor. I actually think that is more impotant than a case size in most cases. Case in point - the lugs on a Khaki Field make that watch wear bigger than its 38mm case size would suggest. Thanks!

Hello Teddy, I am your avid RU-vid fan from the Philippines. Recently, I acquired an almost mint NOS Omega Speedmaster Professional LCD Quartz watch with ref no 186.0004 from 1977. I know you are more into mechanical watches like I do, but I just can't resist "pulling the trigger" on this piece. Can you please share some advice and give some important insights and comments with regard to this particular model? Thank you so much and I am looking forward to hearing from you. You stay safe and God bless! Sincerely.....

Being german two things come to mind: 1. This time you're speaking a little slower than usual which makes you really easy to understand and follow your thoughts. At your usual speed i sometimes need to rewind and listen again. Not a big deal just more comfortable to enjoy. 2. How is a watch "very german in it's approach"? You can get top quality from other country's brands also. Please let me know. All in all very interesting video that gave me tons of inspiration. Thanks!

I tried the Seiko SPB143. This watch on my 6.5 wrist is simply perfect! I order the SPB213 (140th Anniversary Limited Edition). Just have to wait for the release and make my mind between the two ;-) 2 other great alternatives that would definitely be on my top 3 is : the Longines HydroConquest (there is a 39mm) and theTAG Heuer Aquaracer! Great video Teddy and thks for the new giveaway.

Fantastic video. We angel hair pasta wrist guys applaud. Favorite here has to be the SeaQ., but i did try on the BB58 925 today...and it's probably the most handsome watch I have seen in quite a long time.

I just sold a SeaQ 43mm. It wasn't to big as my wrist size is 7.75" . Just couldn't get used to the unbalanced look of the dial . I have a collection of Rolex Submariners , and for me , that's always been the go to for divers in that price range . Absolutely love the Baltic Aquascape . Have been trying to get the GMTthat your wearing in video but they're always sold out . Waiting for an email as we speak. Anyway, as always, great informative video. Thanx

I have Oris Divers 65 40mm and Aquis 41.5mm. Both fit my 6.5" wrist well. Aquis does wear smaller than the number suggests. I tried 39.5mm Aquis and it almost wears smaller than 38mm C60.
