Same truck here, same issue but VERY sporadic. I unplugged it under the seat and plugged back in. Stopped for a bit but started acting up again. I will check for pinched wires. Thanks!
Most all have the same problem. It's the connector under the seat. Yellow clip for the seat airbag has a bad connection. Pull apart clean contacts put some electrical grease and assemble. Fixed.
I remove the glass driver side just to tint my windows. Trying to figure out how to reach a tab to pull the window out. I disconnected wires in the door panel. Reconnect them back. Until this morning i got air bag service.Is there a sensor on the door panel that also activates the air bags?

After I cleared under the seat and pulled on every wiring harness and inspected as best as I could, and my light has not come back on.side note I only inspected under the driver's seat I did not do anything with the passenger seat
I never found any wire that was pinched or broken, and I don't really care enough to fix the problem completely LOL but the Common Sense part is if you can recline the seat forward and backwards and change the light that it is stretching or pulling on a Wire, a wire can be pulled slightly out of a connector and cause resistance issues not a perfect answer but I hope this helps
