Sim Bula vinaka- thank you for your kind comment!! Your country, you people you are amazing! The hospitality of everyone is heart warming!! We wish the best for Fijians. Stay safe!! Moce 🌺
Just gone through your video, just great and well done. As some other of us, we are waiting to see Part 2 ! Confined at 1300m/m above Montreux, Switzerland, we really appreciate...
Silvio Refondini Thank you! Making this video was therapeutic for us. Although we are in Fiji , we are confined in the marina, not allowed to sail until unknown when, and watching the horrid news ...
@@sailingfilizi That is why we do not hesitate to write you a few lines. Blocked just like you are, we are happy to see your videos to make us dream of better days. In Europe, it looks like from the end of this month and more specifically by mid of next May things will be changing slowly but surely for progressively towards a coming back to normal life. Sailing Fair Isle are also experiencing something special on their sailboat, trapped on the southern coast of Spain !!! Cheer up !
Yassu Yorgos and Karina, was great to see you guys arriving at my home town, Savusavu as your first stop in Fiji. Did you get to find out how that girl at the markets was able to speak Greek ? The only other Fijian that i knew how to speak fluent Greek was someone that i met in Sydney, Aus in the 80's. He had lived with a friend on the boarder of Greece and Macedonia for 4yrs and was able to speak to Greeks at a pub without an English words. Loved the footage and especially the background Fijian music. May you both have continued safe sailing voyages. 🇫🇯🙏🏽 ⛵🇬🇷
i Vete Yassou !! Vinaka vaka levu for your kind comment! It means a lot to us, especially coming from a Fijian! We absolutely love Fiji! And we love Savusavu and hope that we’ll be able to sail there again, once the restrictions are lifted. The Greek speaking Fijian woman, Sofronia, learned our language when she traveled to Greece. with the Greek Orthodox church. Soon we’ll make Part 2 movie, with more of Fiji ! Be well and stay safe!
Hi !!! I have just discovered your channel :) I enjoyed your video, thank you :) You have a beautiful yacht. I also have a Jeanneau, an SO 45 :) Where are you at the moment ? Kind regards, John. Wellington, New Zealand.
Ειλικρινά η σκοπιά σας ειναι υπέροχη! Χίλια ευχαριστώ! Καλή συνέχεια με ευχάριστα θαύματα! (βρήκα το video αναζητώντας το Tuamoto Archipelago για το οποίο διάβασα στο Earth Photographs from Gemini VI Through XII p.157)
Great video. First one I've watched. Makes me feel I'm there. Just a couple of practical questions (1) did you sail right through Nov-Mar period in Pacific when the stormy season is meant to be and (2) did you experience any serious engine or sailing equipment breakdowns along the way or did you haul out in Panama to prevent troubles? Stay safe. Thanks.
George Cumming Hi! We are glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you! We did not make any long passages during the hurricane season ( Nov- April) of the South Pacific. In the video you can see that we left Polynesia in July. As all sailors, we did have a few breakdowns, during the 6 years of open sea- thankfully nothing very grave.Check out our blog www.sailingfilizi. gr for more details. Be well 😊
@@sailingfilizi Thank you. I'll check your blog. I am planning to take 18 months to go from Scotland through Carribean and Panama to Pacific islands, then up past Solomons through Indonesia and ending in Philippines (where I will retire). I'm inexperienced so I'm putting a lot of time into planning and safety before comfort. Keep safe.
I’ve watched several of your videos. What does a voyage around the world Cost? Just curious. And - How do you get this much time off from work? Maybe you own a business and others are running it..
I have been waiting for the next video (this one) for 5 months. It was worth it. Thank you for taking us to the wonderful world of the South Pacific, without the usual You Tube hype!
You are the oasis to our desert of the coronovirous depression . Thanks a million, beautiful video .I was also waiting and wondering of your wereabouts.
Well worth the wait - that was beautiful - thank you so much for sharing this with us - May you be blessed with fair winds and a safe sail - please stay safe and well sending love 👏❤️😁xxxx
