They closed the Hallmark stores by us. I loved that store. We havent had rain except a few sprinkles for a couple of months. Its supposed to rain Friday,Saturday and Sunday. This weekend of course we leave for camping tomorrow. But we are die hard campers and have a 5th wheel. So we will be fine. Its been so long since we had any. I may go stand in it. 😂

Oh my gosh, years ago when my husband and I went to Dauphin Island the rip tide took the lives of a husband and his son. Loved the island but that scared us off from going back!

I was having the same problem testing my Hallmark ornaments so I did a google search and I was able to figure out that I could just switch out the old larger green end with smaller end from newer lights. It's really easy to switch out and all the ornaments I tested work. I'm going to send both size ends with their order.

I've missed a bunch of your videos due to time constraints, but wanted to make sure you and your viewers know that there is a difference between 15 oz and 1 lb when shipping USPS Ground Advantage (used to be the same before the last increase went into effect). I've seen it to be more than $1 when shipping to the West coast. In talking with an eBay rep, seems that the USPS has a lower discount when getting to 1 lb, so shaving off 1 ounce can save some shipping dollars.

We still have a big Hallmark store in the Huntington (WV) Mall - there are a few stores in the Norfolk-Virginia Beach area, but I recall at least 4 of them that went out of business when I was living there.

I had gone to a yard sale where the whole garage was literally filled with hallmark ornaments from the 1970s to early 2000s. It was three sisters that were selling their moms collection that she had been collecting for over 30 years. They had said their mom passed away and that they took the ones they wanted and were selling the rest. I asked how much they were, and they said 50 cents each. I said I want them all and all 3 looked at me like I was crazy or like how are we going to count all of these. It took all 3 of them about an hour to count them and I think they just kind of stopped and said how about 800 dollars that's where they were when they didn't really want to continue counting. I said here you go, and I sold Hallmark Christmas ornament on Ebay and at flea mark for about 4 years. I tried to count them more or less and I am guessing about 2,000 ornaments. Most about 5 to 10 dollars but some up to or more then 100 dollars each. I believe she worked there as a manager and probably was in the hallmark club or something. It was crazy and still one of my best buys ever.

Last year we had maybe 5 days of rain all year. This year we've had at least ten. The year isn't over, so I'm hoping for a bit more. My desert comes absolutely alive when we get a little bit of rain. It's an amazing God send of a sight to see dead come to life.

I have sold flatware on Poshmark before. In fact the person wasn't happy with the quality of the silverware and Poshmark didn't let her return. I really made out with that sale because if it had been Ebay I have 30 day returns. I have also sold dinner plates, and serving pieces on Poshmark.

Having grown up just outside Jackson MS I know the misery of those drizzle rains. It does nothing to cool things down and actually makes it feel more humid. Yuck weather.
