Although UFC 5 has added some UFC Undisputed elements to UFC 5. There's still a long way to go until catching up to what the UFC Undisputed series did better than UFC 5.
One thing I loved about UFC undisputed 2010 was that you could use a CAF in event mode and it would save their record. My friends and I loved creating a bunch of fighters and then essentially create our tournament/league where we could track our record and establish a champion in our group.
My favorite part of the undisputed series is very similar to this. The fact that after their careers are done the fighters career stats, and actual fighter ability stats are saved and you could fight with them at any time. 20+ created fighters when it’s all said and done that could be injected into any game mode you want. They aren’t just gone once the career mode is complete like the modern ufc games.
Beta believe it might come out only when playstation 6 hits the market with ufc6 as bundle package now imagine that 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 . Way to long but ya never kno!. 😫

The Undisputed games also had full fight highlights post fight. They'd play on a loop until you hit Rematch or Exit. I loved watching my work. That's the main thing I've wanted them to bring back. I don't remember much else being all that better from the Undisputed games. Haven't played them in forever.
Been playing UFC 5 the past 24 hours and I do like it more than UFC 4 and it does do a bit better than the previous game. As always I like showcasing what the Undisputed series did better in hopes of getting these in future updates or games. UFC 5 was a small step forward by adding doctor stoppages, better damage and draws. And I feel like videos like this do help with making it known that fans want to see these features return. I will be doing a video about the things UFC 5 does better than UFC 4 very soon. I don't want it to come off that I'm ultra negative on the new game when I do feel its a step up from UFC 4, though only a very slight one at that.
YES, EA keeps shoving us mediocre games at such high prices, we need to let them know what we want as the fans and consumers. As a fan of these games i thank you for pushing for quality👍🥇
That's good! I'm sure you'll like UFC 6 when they change 1 little detail and keep everything else the same, cause that's what you are saying you want to happen. Actions speak louder than words. EA doesnt listen to reviews, they count dollars
@@4evermilkman Nah you're right to be fair. There needs to be more of a serious overhaul. To be fair that was with my first 24 hours. Now I've had more time with the game it definitely isn't what a UFC 5 should've been with that long since UFC 4. There should've been more modes like a booking mode, serious career mode updates and way more additions to the fights other than a few details. I fully agree. And yes EA are going to just add little UD3 details here and there without serious updates. That's been the way since at least UFC 3.

I feel since theres no other competition for EA they can afford to be lazy and not add a lot of the old stuff from previous games. It’s a shame that UFC can’t license out the game to other devs as well, give EA some actual competition to bring in more and better features

If companies/devs cared they would remaster or make it available on current gen systems. If it's about licensing.. well by now they should have enough of our $$$ to pay up.
Don’t forget about the clinch and the better ground game. It was actually skillful and not based off stats and cheesy stuff. Also you didn’t throw 180 strikes in 1 round like ufc 5. So when you got a flash KO it made sense since you threw like 50 strikes a round

The only things I didnt like about UFC Undisputed 3: *(note: Undisputed 3 is still my favourite MMA game, this is just a constructive criticism, not destructive. I am pointing these out, cause it would be even better if they had fixed these)* - Loading screens were taking too much - Standing Elbows were removed from previous series (yeah they are still available as an exclusive move to certain fighters, but not all fighters can do that as a fundamental move.) - Pride Mode didnt have Openweight division (it had in real life Pride). if they added this, it would be possible to match up every fighter in the roster against one another - they could have added more fighters (Fedor, Sakuraba, Igor, Sergei, Sakurai, Aoki) etc to the Pride section - CAF points were way too limited, so your CAF will always be much weaker compared to the roster fighters (talking about CAF mode CAFs, not Career CAFs. I know you can maximize CAF through Career, but you had to do that for every single CAF one by one and its gonna take a lot, i mean A HELL LOT of time) otherwise It was a perfect game, the best MMA game we ever had.
Awesome video with very good points. UFC Undisputed 3 feels much more fun to play than EA'S UFC. the gameplay is smooth and fluid, and in UFCUD3, when you never know when you will knock your opponent out, it may be a flash KO or it may be a hard KO to get, your opponent may recover and fight even come back and still win. you get a knock down/rocked moment and you can keep still going to get the TKO. It has many outcomes and possibilities. but EA, its a clunky game with pre determined animations, you know when the KO is coming, theres like several knockdowns until it happens. it always end with a knockout, no referee stoppage, the opponent just collapses. KOs are unrealistic af, they even added ragdolls to the clunky game which didnt make sense because it doesnt even look good. UFCUD3 is now 2 generations backwards, yet its still ahead of EA UFC in terms of gameplay, presentation, concept etc it even had Pride and much more in-depth features
Fr in those games career mode in sports games were goated af. Nowadays the creators only try to improve graphics which makes them take off details like the OG games which is stupid tbh. They try to improve graphics and they still look pretty similar than the last game they put out. It's embarrassing tbh how lazy they have gotten.
It’s cause online play became the main focus of gameplays, some people don’t care about the little things and just want the gameplay and online to be good.

I wish there was press conferences, weigh ins, face offs, post fight interviews and pride mode. In pride mode it would be so fun to play prime Overeem, Alex perreira, izzy and fedor.
Couple things I miss, that I wish EA would add is better fighter intros. If I can’t defend both belts in EA then at least give me my props during my intro as the former wt class champion and reigning defending champion. In UD 3 even if you lost your belts Buff would still intro you as the former champ. If I achieve GOAT status in EA and finish my career give me some HOF recognition, special cutscene of Dana handing me HOF trophy or a Jon Anik scripted HOF send off, something. UD 3 had a great HOF cutscene and Buff announced you as HOF warrior.
as a console player i’d rather wait for more boxing games to release. as long as EA hold the UFC contract it won’t change too dramatically to feel like a different game
it's crazy to think of all the nuances and subtle things that videogames use to have! you'd imagine a billion dollar company of EA and their numerous dislikes they get they would revamp and actually make a FULLY immersive UFC GAME....
i already had the console to play UFC Undisputed so that was a big 'W' for me, and they actually made the roster instead of just using the last game's roster 'with updates'... hopefully its fixed in the next year or so while im waiting for a next-gen console to be in my price range, but at the moment biggest difference between 4 and 5 is what console you can play it on

i completed ufc 3 undisputed several times and never got any interview from joe rogan nor any entrance animation (altough you can choose it for your character) no post fight interview, nothing.. i just experienced the weigh ins, i was quite surprised when i saw this video^^
I dont care if it the game is 10 years old, gameplay does not live up to current expectations, standards or graphics look potato for today's standards. One thing I love Undisputed 3 is, they cared for both game and the sport itself. You can see how much effort they put into the game. but looking at EA's UFC, they dont even care for game or sport, they only care for the marketing. they are giving us the same game for last 2 titles (UFC 4 was basically a UFC 3 with updates and UFC 5 is the same from UFC 4), without adding much, still not add Pride mode or most things community ask. they dont even bother, without shame they claim to give us Muhammad Ali but its basically just Nate Diaz with a skin. all the gameplay, animations, vanity items, CAFs etc they just copy pasted everything from previous game, only added minor tweaks, selling the same game as if its a brand new game. they also do the same for FIFA and some other sports games. wish we had alternatives to EA sport games, too bad THQ's Undisputed is not around anymore and Konami's PES became a mobile game
We need that Dana White mode, CAF customisation back from UFC 3, unique animations for fighters including blocking types and head movement like Anderson Silva had in UD3, a lobby for online gyms so people can hang out and train in a dojo, redo the engine to be physics based instead of logic based kinda like GTA iv, editable roster stats, gameface or Ai equivalent and the rest of what you mentioned there.

Dead right on all these facts it’s the presentational and real feel of things. You’ve touched on a load here but it’s the lack of attention to detail that really lets the game down. We’re on next gen now, the faces aren’t all scans and the fighters for how few there are in the game roster in comparison to real life should have been motion captured. Also why are there no staredowns in the middle of the cage for fights. Such a big list of missing things that to me are easy to add for an industry giant like EA! The games a let down thus far the only big improvement aside from the damage/ cut system which isn’t always that realistic is the alter egos, there should be more through the year of fighters in their primes and so on as they’ve done with a few but no doubt knowing EA they’ll all be behind micro transactions. I paid £90 for the ultimate edition and you don’t even receive all content for example you still have to purchase the other Bruce Lee alter egos. EA whilst giants and dominating the game of sports gaming are slipping massively with their standards. All their care goes into making the biggest mark up with the least effort and cost going in to it, it would seem! Good video though mate, well covered 🙏🏼
Here's the thing, and let's be real, UFC 5 is basically the same as 4, and we know why that is. EA. This is and has always been their formula, cookie cutter bullshit and recycling of content/features that have already existed in other games. UFC 5 is a fail on launch. I could rant longer, but why? what does everyone expect? EA hasn't made a better NFL game that 2K made twenty years ago. As soon as UFC had EA make their games this was what was going to happen until the end of time or they lose the license.

The second part was better in terms of huge content, unfortunately part 3 did not put the wonderful things like the character's voice and dialogue options and cutscenes

If you guys bought UFC 5, you are the sole reason why there will never be another UD3 or even a remaster. From EA UFC 2 to 5 little has changed. It's disappointing as a gamer to see these companies do the bare minimum. The focus is now on online gaming. GTA5 is a perfect example. Almost 10 years and not one single player add on. As long as you keep giving them $$$ this is what you're going to get. It's over

the intros definitely suck, they also took out the part where they pat down the fighters before entering the cage & there’s no walkouts for 3 round fights, hopefully they fix or add these things in later updates
