17 Year Old Female Jumps Off Freeway Bridge

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 9/13/24 11:50 PM
LOCATION: Eastbound 210, East of Haven Ave.
AREA/CITY: Rancho Cucamonga
DETAILS:
On September 13th, 2024, at about 11:50 PM, CHP Rancho Cucamonga received reports of a body down in lanes on the Eastbound 210 Freeway, just East of Haven Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga.
CHP and Rancho Cucamonga Fire arrived at the scene and located a female lying face down in the HOV lane.
That person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A SigAlert was issued for an unknown duration for the HOV and number one lane.
It was reported that multiple cars struck the pedestrian, but it is unknown if any vehicles stopped.

This happened just up the street from me. She is Emily Gold. A beautiful and kind senior who went to Los Osos High School Rancho Cucamonga. She ended up on the freeway, but there is still so much more to this story that hasn't come out just yet. Some says she jumped but the reason why is very suspicious. May her beautiful soul RIP 🙏

emily was my son's friend. they go to los osos high school together. they've been friends since freshman year. my son has been coping with losing a friend. let alone in this manner. we're not sure if it was pushed into this and i hope her family investigates it further... she is a sweet girl and we are all in shock. rip, em... fly high, baby girl!!! you'll be missed. sending our thoughts and prayers to her family.
