My youngest son has autism and sometimes videos like this are the only thing that calm him down. He loves to watch toilets flush for some reason. Update: He is still watching these videos now on a daily basis. As soon as I get home from work he wants to watch his toilet videos on daddy’s phone. This one in particular. So glad these exist.
Same I’m autistic and helps. The sounds of the toilet flushing the sight of the toilet flushing and being the one pushing the handle and watching the water go down it’s just Is is just oh so satisfying
It’s so interesting seeing the different flushes, I personally prefer the quicker flushes from modern toilets, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion
Ok, so like I have a fear of those loud public toilets because well...they are loud, and this is the first step to getting over it. I try to relax while watching these, and honestly, it's actually working. Somehow videos like this have actually become very calming to me.
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations I fully appreciate that as including the refills would have made it longer. My point was that 'refills' can sound really good to which you did acknowledge. I just wish there were more full refills represented as well as flushes. Ladies facilities in particular give a real cacophony of toilet flushes that is hard to reproduce in any other way.
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations I was thinking more about the number of flushes from different distances in a shorter period of time compared with the men's room. I'm forgetting that men's urinals have manual flush your side of the Atlantic, but they have a different flush sound as I sure you are well aware.
There's a lakefront hotel here in Canada that still uses older style toilets with massive tanks and around 10 second flushes. They even refurbished the rooms a few years back but kept the toilets. The public bathrooms even use sinks with fully manual faucets.
Love the American Standards the have a CCW high water volume long time swirl, taking advantage of the Coriolis effect, tightening waste into a spiral stream so the weight of water, combined with the created low pressure, funnels 💩 into the trapway. Best flushes ever. Currently have the Ft. Meyers "Niagara" terlit in my apt bathroom. It is pressure assisted deep into the bottom of the square trapway as seen by a very small air tank assist, S path in rear also with a tiny straight path from air tank deep into trapway, and has a small siphon jet 1/3 way into the trap start. Flushes on 0.6 and 3 gallons of water (press and release, hold down, respectively). It has both straight rim holes and concentrated front washdown stream. Does very well on 0.6gpf, even with 💩 and TP in the bowl! Surprised me.
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations Agreed. This newest model also called "Conservator". Update: Washdown on back half of the bowl virtually non-existent. Had trouble flushing cut hair and took 4 flushes to get all of it out as it stuck to the sides on the back half. I've had other Conservator models and they were 💩-ty at best. The older ones conserved water in their huge tanks by having a 0.6gpf oblong little bowl fixed to the bottom of the rotating flush handle and arm that runs the length of the tank. Cannot adjust water level except by using less in the little oblong tank bowl. The concept is one akin to a mini food processor bowl inside a huge one. But in this case the water in the little tank bowl is dumped into the huge tank, which flows into the bowl via a large 3" flapper. Klutzy for sure, but it works. Flushes well with really poor wash down.
Great ASMR vid. Thank you for lowering my cortisol and raising my prolactin. 🙏 toilets and sinks baths and showers in fact all things in the home that use water are soothing. 170 toilets? That's me after drinking too much coffees 😂
Thank you for making this video! Im researching to find the quietest toilet in the world. Can you give me your top three for your assessments? I would greatly appreciate it. THANK YOU ofr making this video!!!!
You're welcome! I would say the quietest toilets are the ones with the weakest flushes. Lowboy toilets come to mind but if you want something more normal, then a ProFlo Jerritt would probably be your second quietest option. However, they are quiet because they don't have much flushing power.
I have OCD therefore when my toilet flush sometimes water particles comes out when I flush..then I have to clean toilet seat wall and floor because of fear of if water drops were falling on wall, floor and toilet seat..so these toilet flush are so smooth ..I live in India so can these types of toilet flush deliverable to india
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations I just love to flush a toilet at different places just to see how the water flows and how it goes down. It’s just so satisfying.
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations ah yes I just get great satisfaction at it just flushing it and watching it and for some reason it’s so addicting I never got why and I often felt weird about it but then I realized who cares what everybody else thinks it’s satisfying it’s kind of like an ASMR thing for me
