No glitter! It's beautiful! You could try one of ur crystal inserts in the middle with the same micopowder as the edges! I asked this on a previous video, but could you do this effect with black instead of white, and a red and yellow so it looks kinda like flames or lava?

@Megan O'Kelley I remember you asking the first time! I think that would be very interesting. Only thing I can think of that might keep it from making the Larimar effect would be the atomic weight difference between white titanium and the black pigment. White is MUCH heavier than black pigments & plays a big part in how/if the cells are formed Hope that made some sense! But, we won't know if someone doesn't try, right?

GIRL!!! That's *GAWJUS!* 😊💕 NO glitter! Instead...one (or more!) of your fabulous druzy inserts would be *_so amazing,_* with or without holo glitter on its edges. I suspect that using one of those would also slow down the flash cure effect in the middle. Maybe even enable you to pour the 360+ a mm or two deeper? LOVING your experiments, Julie! ❤ You OWN the Larimar effect as far as I'm concerned! 💕😊💕

That is absolutely gorgeous! Amazing colors! The lavender on the crystal edge is so beautiful. I finally started buying a bit of lavender clothing a few years ago, I have no idea why it took me so long to realize how much I love it.😆 I would be willing to bet that your Hubby has a Forstner drill bit set in his man cave, they’re great drill bits. If he has a drill press, he could drill out that center for you in no time. A regular drill with a Forstner bit would work too, it’d just be a little more fiddly. He should be sure to wear a dust mask too. Lovely work as always Julie.

The purple reminds me of concord grape juice. This coaster came out so wonderful. I sure like that mauve like glitter or mica powder you dusted onto the crystal sides. I think it looks lovely without the glitter added to the top. I like the natural look of it.

You could use one of your bubble silicone bits in the centre to leave a hole in the top for glitter ✨ or black fill as a pupil 🤪

Ah, thanks for trying this with thicker resin. I use Alumilite which is on the thicker side, so this really helps me see if the effect will work with my resin.

That is really beautiful! I love all the veining! The gold looked pretty, but it blocked out a lot of the pink, so I think it was a good decision not to add it.

IDK... The glitter makes it a bit gaudy. The crystaline sides look great and works well with the way the resin and ink turned out. I'd personally leave it alone and leave it as is. Sometimes simple is best.
