New to resin - I have collected all the things, just need to dive in. This is the BEST flower coaster I have seen, I LOVE the wispy look. Definitely glad I have waited to start and so happy I saw this.
I just love your exuberance....I'm one of the world's biggest procrastinators that would love to try resin art but talk myself out of trying...I also feel very intimidated by this medium. Your piece turned out gorgeous....I'm just going to have to sit on it for awhile to work up the courage to try lol
Hi Kerrie! I totally understand the procrastination and intimidation... I suffered from both before picking up my first bottle of resin. I hope you’ll keep watching and maybe see something that makes the “first step” seem less like a “leap”. She’s a doll! I definitely felt & still feel super intimidated when trying new mediums or tools. Then once I try, I think to myself “what was I thinking? This is so simple & so fun!” Never fails lol I’m currently working my gall up to use a table saw! I’m deathly afraid 😱 I’m sure in a few months I’ll wonder how I ever got by without one ❤️
I totally agree with Myriams response! I was also intimidated, so I started very small- I bought a small epoxy resin kit, some glitters, and a little gummy bear mold from the craft store. I made a few tiny gummy bears to just kind of "dip my toes in"... and it was so simple and fun! I practiced with gummy bears until I was comfortable and gradually bought more molds and supplies, and a year later I'm making large trays and sculpted light covers and resin shelving units. If I'd tried to jump in right away with a large project, I don't think I'd have had an easy time or grown the love for it like I did. Just start small, as you feel more at ease, go bigger!
It’s so funny, but I have been watching Myriam’s videos for the past few months and still don’t have the courage to get started! All the materials I would need have been sitting in my Amazon cart and all I have to do is click “place order”. I love Myriam’s work, her delightful personality and easy instructions. Maybe today is the day I’ll click the button!!!
Totally! I’m sure - like the rest of us - Myriam has bad days, but her consistent positivity is so infectious, and every video is a joy on so many levels. 🙏🏼🥰
I love the 'lets play', because that is what it's really about, right?!?! I used to make resin jewelry but now I have 2 kids, both under 3 yrs, so I have been out of that world for a few years now. It's amazing how many new things have evolved in the resin world. I have been craving a creative outlet. Can't wait to jump back in sometime soon! Thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you I’m just starting with resin , took me a lot of trial and error and RU-vid videos to figure stuff out.. I don’t have piping bags or pigment white that ppl use to make the blooming flowers this was helpful. I am a little intimidated only because I’m a type of person that likes to use everything I have in 1 project so my color pics are not the greatest at times.

Hi Veronica... thank you!! I really do understand the fear... I was riddled with it at first. That apprehension quickly dissipates once you take the first step, honest. When you are ready, start with a little piece... just one or two ounces of resin, no more. That little piece may open up a whole new world for you. Veronica, if you do buy some resin don't go mad for the mica powders yet. If you wear powdered eyeshadow/make-up use the colours you aren't so keen on for your face, or pick up a cheap palette of make-up. This is also mica!

Love this one. I'm still new I have gone through my first bottles of resin (two 32oz bottles) and practicing coasters for now. I can't wait to get my next order of resin as I feel the next round of coasters will be more pleasing to the eye LOL. In the meantime these videos are needed as they are so informative and very very inspiring. I almost get depressed when a day goes by and no new videos. Ty!
