Wow That put up a real fight. With its anti snap, trap pins and very rare key way, that looks like it would actually make a good lock for a door !! Great job as usual Carlos :)
Thanks Toni my friend, and thank you very much again for your work with the subtitles, is much appreciated buddy ;o)). Yeah, is a good lock for a door, when it is installed, it is difficult to know that there are trap pins, in addition they will delay the opening a lot and make the autoimpression and bumping ineffective. Thank you very much for watching and comment Tony, you know it´s much appreciated ;o))
Awesome lock and picking. It was funny to see the trap pins moving while you were picking. That was a very complex lock - very well done my friend. Such a lock requires a lot of skills and training.
Thank you very much Michael, my friend, it was a very fun learning process, I´m glad you like it buddy ;o)) I really enojoy this one, thanks for watching and comment my friend, you know it´s much appreciated ;o))
Very impressive picking! 👏👏 Great job picking the traps blind, excellent technique. 👍👍 An exasperating and exhausting pick for sure, and gutting too! 😊 Very well done. 🔒🔓👌
Thank you very much Paul buddy, your vid about the Avocet ATK was very useful for me to defeat this Federal ;o)) Yeah, this is the right word, the first time you get a full turn you finish eshausting LOL Thanks for watching and comment buddy, is much appreciated ;o))
Thank you very much Noctis, I had not seen this lock before it was sent to me by LN, I had seen in a supply store a federal dimple with magnetic pin like the one that also sent me (I have not been able to open it yet). Thanks for watching my friend ;o))
Thank you very much merlin, I´m glad you like it mate, it´s a very cool lock and the trap pins are very challenging ;o)) Thanks for watching and comment, is much appreciated ;o))
Thank you very much Frosty my friend, it´s a cool lock to pick, very fun to defeat, learn to pick the trap pins was very cool ;o)) Thanks for watching buddy ;o))
Thank you very much Bill, after practice with the trap pins it´s not a hard lock, the six lowers are very cool pins but that does not translate to the lock as a great difficulty of picking, in any case, it is a laborious opening ;o)) Thank you very much for watching and comment Bill, is much appreciated ;o))
Thank you very much Jon, more than hard is laborious, once you get used to the touch of the trap pins, the opening becomes only something laborious ;o)) Thank you very much for watching my friend ;o))
Me llevas mucha ventaja, compañero. :)
Damn! I thought that would keep you busy for a lot longer than that, very, very impressive :-) EDIT: how long and frustrating was it to re-pin both sides?
haha, do not worry, it has had me busy for a good number of hours, to learn to pick the trap pins was exciting and exasperating at the same time LOL This is a very cool lock my friend, it's really worth it to spend time and face it. Thank you very much again for send it to me my friend, I really enjoy it ;o)) Not had time yet to try to pick the other Federal, hope to have time soon ;o)) The repinning is very laborious, but possible, it is necessary to use small followers introduced by the hollow of the cam and extracted later by the same hollow, in addition I use shim to go placing the trap pins. The assembly of one of the halves is much simpler, and although it is a collection lock, I would really like to share it with a colleague of the forum and I am thinking of dividing it in two. Thanks again for the cool lock my friend, pure fun!
Hi Robson! this is a nightmare to pick, but I saw people bypassing the side trap pins with a spinner, so... Thanks a lot for watching and comment mate ;O)
