Hello Professor Ali, your course is very helpful! I would like to ask if I am deriving the NF of LNA, should I put Rs(=50ohm) into the model? Because Rs would make the voltage gain half.

Thank you Dr. Ali. I wanted to understand why is the flicker noise ignored in the CG/ CD amplifier. Is it ignored only for the ease of derivation?

Sir thank you for the lectures, why is the flicker noise source always shown on the input side? I would like to know what is the underlying reason behind that.

Like any other noise sources it can be reflected to the input or output side. Its expression becomes a little simpler on the gate side, because the primary source of it in MOSFETs is the traps and carrier/mobility fluctuations near the gate/bulk transition.
