I had a tradescantia in college, I had it in the window and it was always sunny. That plant loved the sun and warmth (~30°C) and grew like crazy and bloomed constantly. When I went home I put it in a shadier place as we didn't have so much sun and just didn't thrive anymore. It became green and stopped growing.

Anyone one of these plants would look beautiful on the porch. I do think the hydrangea flowers are the most beautiful. Enjoyed your video. Have a blessed day.

I had a house with an enclosed wrought iron patio at the entrance. I planted morning glory seeds along the wrought iron fence and it was soon covered with “Heavenly Blue” flowers. People walking down the street would always stop and stare at it and I could hear them talking about how beautiful it was! It only cost me the price of a packet of seeds and delivered the “biggest bang for the buck” of anything I ever planted as well as providing more privacy to the front entrance!

I have tried growing Morning Glories from seeds and never had any luck. You inspire me to give it another try. Thanks...

@@zacharypeacock6278 I’m glad you enjoyed my post. Morning glories have a hard shell, so you may have to ruff up the seeds with sandpaper or nick it with a sharp knife or soak them before planting them. They can lay dormant for years sometimes before they sprout. They also need something to climb on, since they are a vine. I hope that information helps.

Some of these plants were not suitable in my Zone 6 area. The gardenia we got from Pesche( horticultural garden) didn’t even make it through early spring this year 2023 , the roots it suddenly shriveled. Morning glory is an annual here in Zone 6 and is best grown in the ground it can’t tolerate a pot gardening, of course it will die once winter kicks in!😩😤 Canna or bird of paradise I need to dig the roots during fall season so I can replant for the next season. The rest can be taken inside the house once winter kicks in except for the spruce, boxwood & lavender am not sure about the palm, but the rest were all Annuals here in Zone6. I am thinking of a Blue Perennial grass on my front yard as it’s less maintenance and it’s going to come back the following season 😱

Not enough relevant information given. For example, most people know the colours of hydrangeas, but need to know how much sun, if any, they will tolerate. Same for peonies. And which plants need to be overwintered indoors? Botanical names would be helpful, too. What is the proper name for umbrella tree?
