@@cherryblossoms85 Lots of places are making things smaller. Have you seen the size of Dunkin's Donuts now? I do not think I'm exaggerating when I say they are literally half the size they used to be.
BK used to be my favorite years ago. However, there quality fell off badly over the years. The most successful burger joints have fresh quality ingredients. Screw all the ads and BS. If you have a good burger, customers will come. 5 guys for instance. No marketing. Just a damn good burger.
Wel i dont know about your burger king. But here are the onions raw. And they have normal fries or twister fries and the burgers are still the same size as ever in the Netherlands.
The nearest Burger King location to me appears to have been built or last renovated in the 1980s. Given what I know about their precarious financial situation, I'm skeptical about whether they can afford a revamp.
Why waste💰 on a full renovation-?🤔. When a quick roof patch will stop the leaky roof-!!!😉. I've seen a few of those dilapated (1980's) dinosaur buildings on occasion-!!!😳.
If the price of fast food wasnt the same as a sit down meal in a real restaurant, maybe folks would get fast food more often. If Im payin over 20 bucks for my hubs and I for dinner, we are eating in a sit down with wait staff restaurant. No a burger on the go thru the drive thru window. Lower the prices, get the whopper back to what it was in the 80s, and make the food properly. No one has pride in the work they do anymore, and the proof is in the fast food food coming out windows... what a freaking mess they are. But hey, you are worth 15 bucks an hour to create that mess...
I'm think the EXACT SAME WAY....I dgaf about the "tech".....I ONLY care about the "taste" and the "price" being "offered".....If I "have" to pay so much, it WOULD BE A "FULL", RATHER THAN A "FAST", SERVICE RESTAURANT!!👍😁
Hey Burger King, can you make the Whopper whopper sized again? Also can we have crunchy fresh fries and onion rings and not those soggy things you have now? $3.95 for a large Coke? Seriously?
Sorry for you but where I live the BK we go to has fresh fries that are so hot they burn your fingers and your mouth and are really crispy and not burnt like the lousy fries at the McDonalds here.
I’m shocked that BK isn’t out of business yet. The last time I had BK, it was totally awful. I think it may be the end for this place if they don’t wake up and get with the times.
I'm in London England and the biggest problem is the price. It's just so much more expensive. I prefer the taste of Burger King but can't justify the price.
@andrewroberts4736 I understand. Prices can vary, and affordability is an important factor. Hopefully, you can find other tasty and budget-friendly options in London! 🍔
Hope they stop charging for toppings on burgers that don't normally come with them. They never used to, but then started, pissed me off, eating much less BK now. Hope they start Flame Broiling Breakfast Sausages patties instead of deep frying them. Love them, but flame broiled was much better.
Interesting/informative/entertaining. I once purchased double cheese burger & onion rings-!!!😋. They once had the best taste buds satisfying flame broiled burgers. In comparison to their competitive fast burger establishment locations. Haven't purchased (BK) in years/both locations have folded in this region. 😭. Along with other fast foods/restaurants in the Melbourne Fl🐊 region.
Sounds like we all agree across the globe: if we are going to pay 2020's prices for goods and services, they should be able to stand up to the quality we received in the 80's.
Lets see: higher prices, less meat bigger bun, slower more surly service, shorter store hours, more restaurant closures, more ice in soda cups, exclusive stale-o-matic(c) food warmers, college level burger assembly training, more creepy burger king mascot guy ..did I mention higher prices?
@williambozynski1176 Wow, that's quite a rundown of changes in the fast-food scene! From higher prices to shorter store hours and more, it seems like the landscape is shifting. Let's hope for some positive changes to balance things out!
How about improving all 3 of the following: 1.) Improve the quality of the food ie; freshness of ingredients, flame-broiling just before you put it in the burger, crispier fries, onion rings and chicken! 2.) Lower the damn price! There ain't nobody so rich that they can afford to constantly dish out $15 to $20 per person for a meal! Return value to the menu board! 3.) Service! Drastically improve your customer service! Make our experience in/at your restaurant like you want us there, and want us to come back again! Don't treat your customer like something you'd rather kick out of sight under the deep fat friers. Make us feel welcome in the restaurant. 4.) It wouldn't hurt if the restaurant eating are was a little friendlier, more welcoming to sit at, and a hell of a lot cleaner to sit at too! No one likes messy tables and dirty floors.
It’s a burger joint. Ditch everything that’s not a burger and focus on good burgers and better tasting fries. No need for fish sandwiches, wraps, or chicken sandwichs. Just good tasting burger and fries. They should also focus on a better tasting American cheese.
How about improving the food? The Whopper is the only good item on the menu. The fries are horrible. The employees are terrible and can’t get your order right. Also, I can’t find any that speaks English.
How about this change that's already in effect.... two extra slices of pickles will cost you between 25 and 50 cents more over and above the already newer higher prices. I kid you not! If you have pickles at home slice up a few and bring them with you in a baggie on your next trip. Better yet cook your own burger at home, go there and ask how much for lettuce and tomato only.
why can't they leave the why the stores and logo looks like alone, i think that's a bad choice for burger king to change their looks because mcdonalds did the same thing and it's not appealing anymore, people like what there are used to and what they know and change always isn't a good thing.
I appreciate Burger King headquarters working closely with their franchisees. I believe this collaboration will enhance their prospects for a successful turnaround.
Considering the US menu at fast foods stores was already much smaller than those around the globe, I wonder if those stores will be "streamlined" too or will it just be the US customers who get stuck with even more limited options.
I Like how when I clicked on this video I got a advertisement for a quarter pounder with cheese. They are watching!!! Great video I love to watch your videos.
@mikeperry6794 The impact of price increases can be significant. Is there a particular item or menu change that influenced your decision not to go since the prices went up?
That "You Rule" ad is extremely irritating!! At least their old "Have it your way" ads featured someone who could actually SING! I refuse to patronize Burger King because of that tone deaf black voice. Thankfully the ads have that bass guitar at the very beginning so I can quickly press the mute button! At least Wendy's and Macdonalds don't have those irritatingly stupid jungles!!
Fast food tasted much better in the 80's and 90's. Today's fast food is disappointing. I don't eat at the big chains and if I do eat out it's once a mouth. I have only had pizza delivered once. I won't be going to BK to taste or see their improvements. We have Culver's and it is the best option, the competition isn't even close.
@user-zx8de8op9l Your approach to eating out once a month and being selective with choices is commendable. Culver's clearly stands out for you as the best, and loyalty to a local gem is always a win.
THE NEW LOGO IS NOT NEW, IT IS THE LOGO OF THE 1970'S REVAMPED. IT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THE 1970'S LOGO WITH A SLIGHT DISTORTION. THE TOP BUN ON THE LOGO IS A SLIGHT BIT TALLER. BUT THAT IS OKAY BECAUSE I LIKED THE 70'S LOGO BETTER ANYWAYS.
I like Burger King, but mine in my city has no kiosks to customize our orders. I think they are like Carl’s Jr and Arby’s in very expensive. They do breakfast but there is better fast food options people like. I like Taco Bell or Carl’s Jr.. Wendy’s don’t do breakfast either. The best thing is all drinks in one machine in BK. Wendy’s also has it. McDonalds is the worst option in drink category but best for cheap options. There isn’t any fast food restaurants I don’t like over food. Subway and their scandals and the ubiquitous number of sandwich shops means I ignore them, and I loved Quizno’s better, but they are gone. Overall, with customer service, BK doesn’t always have someone at the front counter. Like Taco Bell, ordering indoor can be a much longer wait than going through the drive through. Unlike Taco Bell, I wish BK would change the menu. The impossible meat industry is a joke, I won’t buy it. BK is stale in its menu. Unlike most fast food restaurants
@@JJ.-BB Yawn... I haven't been on a bus in almost 50 years and that was my last trip to Fairbanks . Keep trying to project your failings on others. I had you in mind when I posted this, but you disappointed me by taking so long to come up with your lame reply. Were you in jail, again?
BUT,....What people "forget"? Burger King.....is one of THE ONLY places, except, maybe....with YA MAMMA!!....where you have "things YOUR OWN WAY"!!!! Some people? "Think" they can have "things" THEIR WAY....EVERY EFFIN' WHERE THEY GO!!!! I, FOR ONE, FEEL IT A "CALLING" FOR THEM TO LEARN...."THAT'S JUST A GD 'FANTASY'! NOT A 'FACT'!!".....👍😁
No reason to go to Burger King since they discontinued the grilled chicken sandwich. High priced death-onset food is not appealing, to me. I do go to Wendys though when I do indulge.
I last had Burger King about a year ago. My son wanted a one on one guy night out and he chose Burger king. Two double whopper meals came to $38. That's the only reason I haven't been back. The look of the building, the logo, the chicken options.....none of that mattered. Directly across the street is a craft burger place that serves hand crafted high quality angus beef. I can get two meals there for $28. Why would I spend more for lower quality?
