How long until you start to get into the actual programming side of things?? Is there some way I can get in touch with you directly? Biesse won't help me because I'm a contractor.
Hello, and thank you for your interest. At the moment I'm more focused on software and unfortunately that is a function of the numerical control. Just to briefly explain this function: There is a button on the soft-console and if you click on it, it will pop up a window asking to calibrate. Just confirm and keep going ahead. On the next window that will pop up, you can decide to measure the tool (Y) or not (N) and if you say YES (Y), on the following field you have to specify the tool name as it appears on the tool library, then confirm and the machine will do the cycle, touching off the tool 3 times. Just keep the remote console handy, because if the tool length is far off (maybe by mistake), you can stop the machine in advance avoiding collisions. Best regards

@@kaiskis6186 if I have understood correctly, you are talking about the button on the soft-console to select the parking position of the machine related to the start origin. If so, this requires further investigation (plc-data-if stopped working or maybe never worked...) therefore I recommend you to contact the Biesse service department and they will be able to assist you.
