Miss-spoke when recording this about the weapon as if it was me who made the mistake of pulling, meant more-so on a wider scale if it HAD happened in global. Either way, things like that should NOT be happening in GACHA games especially, no matter the region
i was gonna say that, the issue was only in JP, so you pulled that bc you miss-read the description, still a big issue for the JP community and lets see how they compensate it
It's because hsr isn't an open world game and the navigation is actually terrible there so I don't really think this is sth that is needed. It's a fair point tho
I would really like if they added dialogue log so I can check for information that I might've missed in the current dialogue scene. Especially since there are moments when the text is cut off and you can't scroll it.
Yeah, the dialogue cutting off is annoying. It's not so big of a problem in voiced quests, but in world quests where there is no voice acting, there is no way of ever knowing what the npc said
Loot detector is great but it really needs to detect puzzles. I don't want to rely on guides or interactive maps to find everything because that's when it starts feeling like a chore. That simple update would make it feasible to complete the map with just the in game tools in a reasonable amount of time.
lol 100%ing maps is ultimately a chore, anyway. not like finding every single puzzle will get you a guaranteed unit since not enough astrites from those lmao
@@mozzy2968 i think you meant, "like knowing", since you'd like a puzzle detector too or smth. but yeah.. at least it's smth to occupy yourself, since the rest is farming echoes and echo subs till eternity 😂 game is rly for those with plenty of time ngl, since u can farm echoes infinitely.. and the tacet discord areas cost 60😒
EXACTLY! I have 3 Areas with 99% completion (rest 100%) with only like 1 or 2 chests missing and have spent nearly 20 hours just running around trying to find them. The loot detector needs to detect ANY Loot, puzzles, NPC talks, secret quests/multi-part chests (like the photograph and fixing lighthouse ones), etc. Having the loot detector is absolutely useless since we have interactive maps.
When I saw the comment on the voice acting, there was one thought that came to mind with regards to the localization. Has anyone else noticed if you chose Fem MC, when they address her the text will address her properly, but the spoken dialogue will say he/him? Small fix but needed. Also noticed some scenes with a lot of speech, sometimes the text doesn't fit into the box? And you have no way to scroll to see further or an option like Star Rail that you can click on to see the previously spoken dialogue in a scene. Only an issue if you need to play with the volume off (like during a slow day at work).
the gender issue was in Genshin too, it's like the least of their priorities atm lmao. As long as they make it into a complete game, may as well call them, "it" like, the Nemo from Eurovision, for all i care 😂
@@johnd7760Oh the gender issue isn't as big of a deal, but definitely not being able to see the full text when they have a lot to say in a particular moment is frustrating. At least let me scroll or have the text auto-scroll when they start reading the section! Otherwise I am having a blast with this game
Mobile players have it super hard as we dont have mouse to rotate camera, so we can either move camera, or use skills/dodge/parry. Sooo, the boss moves you dont see him and before you rotate camera you are already too late for parry. Im using broadsword where you must parry much sooner and more precisely than with sword user. It would be a huge help if we have a parry button instead of parry by attack. If you have 4 enemies around you, theres no chance you can parry and you are out of dodges in no time.
This is just a personal opinion, but for a game that is themed around sound and waves, the music in this game is kinda average. This might not be the game's fault as we have other bigger game making the quality bar higher, but the experience for the main story and some quest are kinda underwhelming because of the "alright" bgms. Granted, we are just a week after launch, but we have high expectation. Good luck to kuro.
No I 100% agree It feels like the game doesn’t realize how important music is The music always felt very monotonous even with scenes that were supposed to be epic I couldn’t help but compare it to how good genshins music always was 😅😅😅
@@lairisvibing1455 Genshin's music is almost always phenomenal, I still remember when I was first came to Dawn Winery, the music was really relaxing or Port Ormos music when I was exploring Sumeru Music is always important to a game, so I'm pretty disappointed that the music of Wuwa isn't even decent imo
The issue that is constantly bothering me is hp bars of elite enemies. When their stance is broken and they are down their hp bar is clipping into the body, making it sometimes completely invisible. It's happening bc it is attached above enemy's head and not above the enemy itself. It's clearly not a bug, but looks like a massive oversight
@@lichmourne00 all elite enemies (not bosses) Don't get me wrong, in open world they die very quickly, but then we have the tower where you would kinda want to see how much hp your enemies have
@@ymw1107 I somehow got 60 fps with max settings on day on that same 6 year old phone (poco f1) But the optimization update somehow broke the game instead, i can't even play in lowest settings now
@@ChangeOfHearts39 I have absolutely everything turned off or on the lowest settings now , even anti aliasing is off The thing is it's not my phone , it ran the game on 60 fps at launch, the optimization update broke the game instead of fixing it
1:40 just FYI, the mistranslation was in JP, EN translation was fine. As for #10, way too abuseable, you can farm infinite bosses. My alternative suggestion is transforming them into Tuners instead.
Yes but you still need alot of them like even with the bug you would still need 30 gold boss to reach lvl25 for 1 echoe so thats like 45min of farm already and it's 1:1 xp, maybe reduce the exp by 2 so that it's then 60 boss 🤷
We don't know how much we get at max Union Level. If at max, we get way more rewards, decreasing wave plates cost is gonna be too much @@papiertoilette-pb9lf
Like you said, you can't please everyone. But the Waveplate system does need a rework. If there's something that I want in any gacha game whether it be Genshin, HSR or Wuthering Waves please introduce a system like Honkai Impact 3rd so you can rewatch cutscenes natively in-game. That's one specific thing I want to see. I don't want to look them up on RU-vid afterwards.
@@uriengregorios You're not wrong, hahaha, that the Yelan/Xiao cutscene where he almost dies, Osial, Rover embraces his inner Havoc. The Robin stunts on Evil Marionette Sunday by embracing her inner power of friendship.
i thought thats already in the game, granted i havent clicked on the cutscenes to test it, but theres a gallery ingame and it contains the mainstory and character cutscenes so unless its buggy or not functioning this should be in the game already
I dont really mind the tacet field costing 60 waveplates (40 would be insane) but man the echo upgrade materials they give is so low. I got lots of echos but cant even upgrade them. Also agree on the player camera issue. Its just bad rn especially if bosses have a flying or jump ability it just sometimes refuses to work.
It's upgrade mats is low because the tacet field level is low and our union level is still low. The devs don't assume that we need to rush the completing the hardest content in the game in just 8 days. They will introduce more quests for union exp in the future patches.
Not only that, they also have to severely optimised the performance of the game on devices as well, that's is what make it such a disaster launch after all. It's a very very tall task for a company like kuro, so let's see how they proceed here.
@@Tam-lv1mpWe already knew the start if the story would be eh (all gacha are outside of HSR), they rewrote the story which probably means they fixed everything outside of the very first quests. But maybe I am wrong and the start of the quest was also rewritten which is a possibility... The story has highs and lows atm for sure
I can add one more. When you use auto continue for the dialogues it sometimes waits too much but sometimes cuts the sentences. Looks like it has a spesifik waiting time that won't suit for every dialogues. If this also get fixed it would be really good for the people that uses auto continue system.
Currently, -mouse sensitivity seem had been increased -They mentioned working on layered map -Using useless echo as free exp is a bad idea because it unlocks INFINITE farming. Which is not good at all as it will make optimizing in this game hell. This is why a separate exp system is implemented. When people get to endgame, more echo exp can be earned anyway. Personally the only serious prob i have is the localization and the camera.
As a PGR player, I have high hopes for Kuro. I do not mind a rocky start. PGR had that too and it turned out great, comparing PGR during it's first month vs now could literally be like two games. To me, it's important how they handle it moving forward, hopefully they will learn a lot and push it to the right direction (again, like PGR). These are great ideas to send back as feedback and I will do so when I get the chance.
What I don't like is how kuro trying to copy genshin too much. Even more greedy gacha style with 50/50 and other stuff. They need to understand that genshin is popular not because of these things, but it managed to get attention of normies. If kuro wants to beat genshin, they need to give more rewards, less time gating and other things, that will make genshin players to change games.
@@RavenShugoKuro is not being too greedy on their gacha lol, in fact its 2x better than genshin. I don't agree with "copying genshin too much" they just make the same open world rpg that can be found on many platforms, if you stated it like that it's like saying all the same genres are copies of genshin. Don't even complain about the rewards they've given, they are being generous imo. Lastly, Kuro did not mention or state any competition to beat Genshin, its just their community fighting each other.
@@RavenShugoBut genshin got that much money exactly because of that, i'd take 50:50 all day if it means they have the money to make cutscenes and paid voice actor (not that it matters since im f2p regardless lol), it is one of the big reason i dropped pgr Also ufotable, the only gacha game that actually manage to get a big anime studio to make a series for them, i don't mind if people that have extra money paid the game for me lmao
@@RavenShugo its not greedy lol. Genshin hard pity is 90 pulls while WuWa is 80 pulls. Weapon banner is 100% the weapon you want. Standard characters and weapons are separated. They take genshin's system and improved it. Same thing with pgr. Back then it was a carbon copy of honkai but they improved everything. In the end its a business. They need to make money as well. If they make a gacha like pgr for a game that uses more resources then how tf they'll survive
@@zard2341tbh only reason genshin is as popular as it is now was bcs it started first. There were already many better and popular gacha games like fate, arknights etc but genshin took the open world genre and did it well. If kuro or hypergryph (arknights) did it first it'll be far more popular. And lol just from the prologue WuWa's cutscenes are already on par with genshin's. And yeah pgr lacks cinematics and is more like a virtual novel. And seriously is getting ufotable a really big deal? Lmao. These gacha companies can open their own studio if they wanted. Hoyo has been putting out ufotable level animations on HI3. Arknights has its own anime already and was received well. Yeah its not ufotable level but animation is subjective. Just bcs it has flashy graphics and effects doesn't make them the best studio. Studio ghibli, kyoani are still the goats.
I want the lock on for mobile to be a lock on and not shift every time you move 😭 making the icon for lock on to change target bigger. Its been the biggest pain in the game.
Wait, are you sure the lock on didn't shift because you accidentally tapped it while dragging the joystick? Also you can resize the icons in the settings.
True man it feels so annoying to not hit the enemies I want. Like why would I ever want to hit those human enemies if they're killing a bear by themselves just kill the bear get an echo and fly away and it's also annoying to not being able to enjoy boss fights properly when the character just run away from boss if it's not close. It take away all that PGR experience for me and I gotta say I'm enjoying Wuthering Waves a lot less than PGR
The echoes system is possibly the WORST layers of RNG on a artifact system I’ve EVER seen. Literally EVERYTHING is wrong with it: 1. Too many stats. There’s so fucking many stat options you can get randomized on an echo such that your odds of the exact right combination, or even a middling combination is almost zero 2. You don’t get a chance at an echo every time you kill an enemy. Just another layer of RNG, you can just sometimes not get them to drop. 3. The substats are not visible UNTIL you invest. You can’t see ANY level of an echo’s potential up front. 4. Upgrading echoes takes premium materials that are not easy to farm and not resin efficient. 5. Even with a good echo and good rolls, this game is designed so that you can’t easily bump up certain stats like crit rate very high using echoes alone. The game is designed and intends for you to roll for limited weapons which have the lions share of crit stats on them. Seriously, weapons are WAY more needed in this game than eidolons, it’s crazy. 6. Getting an elemental bonus on echoes that don’t fit to the set bonus you’re farming for are almost useless. You will NEVER be running a havoc damage echo that is part of the glacio damage bonus set. It’s almost a completely bricked piece right then and there if that happens.
@@terrormansakata9626 well, it’s more important than in a game like Genshin where big damage matters way, way less. In this game, I could see content being really hard if not impossible without having to take a step back and farm better echos.
@spiderdude2099 off topic but I personally think being able to use unleveled echos as echo xp would be a terrible idea because it would allow people to farm infinite echo exp and if people start doing that then kuro will have to lower the echo drop rate to stop it and maybe there might be a way to balance it but I feel it would be to difficult and wouldn't be worth the effort.
@@terrormansakata9626 They already allow farming infinitely for main stat. It's stuck in a weird balance, where if you don't farm hours to get multiple correct main stat echoes to level up, it will take wayyy too much waveplates doing the tacet fields instead to get a good echo. They should either go all-in with rewarding your in-game farming time and allow +0 echoes to be used as exp even as a lower exp value than the mats, or boost the tacet fields rewards so that you don't have to farm overworld for hours to mitigate the rng, I don't think anyone would still be spending the repetitive overworld farm hours in game after a few months if they are being time-gated by exp/tuning mats anyway. Even if you could infinitely farm echo exp, you would still need to do the tacet fields to get the tuning mats at the end of the day Would also be cool to be able to convert blue/purple tuning mats to higher tier because they are completely useless once you unlock gold echoes
One thing I noticed doing the event, is that mortefi's coordinated attacks don't really work without the lock on, I also wished the "soft lock on" when you are not using the actual lock on didn't exist, it is worse than it is on genshin, PGR didn't have that, if you attacked without the lock on, the character would only attack where you were facing. I also dislike how the camera keeps trying to reajust to the "soft locked" enemy, sometimes you stun them and try to look to the other enemies behind you while hitting them, but the camera keeps turning to the stunned one.
I really like this video concept, it seems like you didn’t just say your concerns, but with how you followed up some of these criticisms, it sounds like you’re getting some critiques from fans which is really cool. If Kuro actually addresses some of these, there’s probably a good chance they are watching you, so you could be an outlet for some nice changes
The fact that #1 isn't "optimize the game so it stops running like shit on a majority of devices" is insane. The amount of technical issues this game has launched with is insane.
the problem is it really varies from device to device, some PCs that should be able to run it, run it like shit, and on the other hands, some old ass phones don't have any problems@@BranOnline
I mean that's just stating the obvious kuro has already stated there trying there hardest to fix it also for most people the issues have been fixed there's just a few people left who are still having issues.
@@BranOnline that's not true, there are hundreds of comments still and threads constantly on the wuthering waves reddit about how bad the performance is still on a wide array of devices.
@@terrormansakata9626 just a few....yeah the hundreds of comments in the technical thread and the constant posts on Reddit about how bad the performance still is says otherwise.
As someone who is currently playing WuWa on Android, i'm glad to see the devs are listening and are implementing real-time hotfix patches for the game to fix any ongoing issues. My only gripe for the game on mobile is that i wish they could include an option to turn off the motion blur in the settings. I feel that with the current camera settings that the blur gets in the way when you're trying to track and dodge enemy attacks.
the main issue is indeed the mouse sensitivity, i thought it was somewhere else but realized it is already been set to the max and yet im still swinging my mouse all over my table
The most annoying thing for me is beeping bug, when mouse stops responding correctly and you hear beeping sound like you have sticky keys. Most of the time you can just open a map and wait for it to end, but when you are trying to fight hologram boss, it's basically game over
The waveplate costing is definitely high, considering the amount of resources we get from them. The lock on feature needs to be improved, if you use Jiyan while locked on, the camera doesn't follow his direction, it will be fixed in one direction even though the enemy goes out of the frame/screen. We also get a lot of blue and purple tuners, I hope we get to convert them to gold tuners as we progress so we can have more resources tuning our Gold echoes.
If they fix nothing else, I would greatly appreciate Kuro to fix the camera locking. I'll be fighting something, and the camera will just randomly lock in a direction that's facing nothing and won't unlock until I stand still for 5 seconds. No clue what this issue is, but I hate it.
Yes, when everyone was shouting that the echo does not waste resin like artifacts in Genshin, no one wanted to think about the fact that there are other aspects of pumping, where the price is huge in my opinion. Time will tell how many more discoveries we will make in the future)
What pains me the most currently is the moments where subtitles and/or spoken dialogue are cut off - text box is too long or auto play jumps ahead early, respectively. Many times one helps make up for the other a bit, but a couple cutscenes (which always auto-advance) and nonspoken dialogue (from minor quests/NPCs) moments have left me feeling like i'm missing information.
4:40 i think the same but i believe this is not a fixed location just the one people discovered the most. i was in someone world and we just found the shiny turtle near bell-born at the west. but yes they should randomize it more it will make it really exciting
One thing I think is such a massive missed opportunity is the lack of utility echoes like farming of exploration echoes, the onlyuntility echo I can think of is the Fission Junrock and the Excarat.
Personally, I would like an option to ‘friend request’ so we can just add players as friends without having to go out our way to type in an ID or join a world. I get why they don’t have that, they wanna encourage you to be social and all, but not everyone wants to coop to get something in a single player game Also dodging on mobile is a nightmare which I hope they can fix
id love if they could change something about the exploration, specificly the parts where certain parts of the map change after side or mainquests but with the change of the map, some chests gets unoptainable, for example in Norfall Barrons where you have this epic entrance way to the final boss of the current story, you lose out on some chests. I'm not really anoyed of missing out on the rewards but it hurts my heart to have this part of the map forever with 99% because i have no option to ocmplete exploration there. My suggestion for that would be that the game counts these missable chests afterwards as collected for the statistic or give us some way of accessing this kinda areas again. Besides this, exploration top. Also, the skip button is the best f invention this game got for me. ( dunno if other gacha games got that anyways tho, not looking at genshin rn )
7:38 yeah it's not a problem. In fact, it should be an advantage. Like dr. Ratio should put an extra british debuff on enemies that he talks to (in addition to the debuff that he currently applies) 😂
Regarding your point on people saying generosity is bad, while I have nothing to say on the point itself, I do think treating the people who make that point as the same people who ask for more rewards in other Gachas comes off as a way of mischaracterizing them to diminish the value of their point, when realistically, at minimum, there isn’t bound to be a perfect overlap. All I have to say about Kuro’s generosity is that it’s more so the company’s concern than the players’.
Probably an unpopular opinion, I like how scar looks without the "Onigiri" on him lol. His new design looks better than his old one imo. Idk just looks nicer and cleaner. 7:02
There is a tutorial for dodging in the game tho but not parry sadly, Guidebook and the 4 section there basic training and there dodge training u can do also outro skill training....
I also want them to add this, like in HSR where you don't need to re-edit your items for Spectro or Havoc Rover. Spectro Rover should have it's own set and switching elements should not require us to remove the items. Havoc Rover should have just it's own echoes.
Tbh we are stil in SOL-3 phase 4. It is like AR 30 in Genshin. The reward will increase along with our world level. Anyway, doing 4 tacet field a day as for now can get us +23 gold level echo and 40 gold tuners. In this game, at least we have one echo that we can look forward each day (If you get that echo ofc). If it badly tuned, you can come back tomorrow and try again. In Genshin we can use an entire week worth of Resin and we still don't have that juicy elemental damage goblet with Crit Rate and Crit Dmg.
I tried PGR cuz I couldn't wait for WUWA and I loved the game so much now I play it as well. PGR is great, just bring the good parts of PGR like free selector giveaway in anniversary up to certain characters standard and limited, skins, great end game modes, chibi dorm, Clan system, limited gacha skin banners ( make all skins gacha and let players pull those with pull currency. This way F2p's can get any skin as well just that they have to make a choice on weather to get character, weapon or a skin for their favorite character ).
Do hope vanguard sound studio (pgr and gfl's ost makers) be down to make music in wuwa in the future, idk who's composing the music currently (maybe it's vg, idk, if it is, they need to step up a bit)
I'd be surprised if vg is the one currently composing wuwa's music, they did an amazing job composing stuff in both pgr and girls' frontline several years ago
Tacet Fields are fine, we're all still mostly at SOL phase 3/4 out of like 8. ppl alrdy expecting end-game results when we're still only around halfway there. No. you shouldnt be able to feed fresh echoes, that beats the inherent purpose of the stamina system time-gating ur account progress. some changes i wanna see tho... a hotkey for the Data bank, and to unify all tuners into just 1 cuz purple and lower quality tuners would eventually become obsolete.
There is at least a dodge/counter tutorial in the Path of Growth (basic training tab), but i think additional guidance within it for moments when you're not managing to do it correctly (or smth like that) would be a nice step up. And would definitely appreciate a tutorial for parrying.
The only things i want from them are, i hope there's no more count down when we using an item in healing... Like damn, it is kinda annoying sometime when i am lazy to go to any post to heal lol. And hoping to synthesize on the spot. Cuz i am type of player suddenly do both exploring and the same time crafting on the way lol
@@BranOnline i don't remember where i saw this, but i saw some text that refers to the glider as being a "Mode" for the gourd/data bank. That just makes me think it's actually shifting itself instead of partially letting out an echo
Lootmapper also should have a bigger range, because theres more than 100 chests or etc at least and i cant find everything by lootmapper, its so hard to tell if i explored an area or not even though i looked at some interactive maps. İ suggested it in feedbacks but i doubt they will realize my suggestion because its just one person. İ wish more of the players think same as me, it would be awesome if you all also suggested them that, friends :'3
I am visually impaired so I would really appreciate visual adjustments. I can't dodge or parry no matter how much I train. A sound or option to slow down time before parry would be great for me. Hope Kuro games sees this video, good summary of issues. Lets all be patient they can’t fix everything immediately. I really want them to succeed, so I will continue to spend money so that they get paid for their work and be able to deal with the issues.
I really hope they will let us invert the camera. I'm one of the people whose brain is just wired that way. The amount of over compensating for direction I need to do is really annoying. I would also like for them to lift the lock on some button mappings for the controller. Those have screwed with me several times, especially having to use the left d-pad as the combo button.
So for me it's Echo like the majority of people. But I have more of a problem with 3 cost echo. So each one is one of two sets for each 3 cost echo then add on top a 1 in 10 chance of it being the correct main stat. And that's on top of not knowing the drop chance of certain stats like Energy regen. With then another chance of 5/13 chance for the correct sub stat. With a 30% drop rate. This seems crazy especially since there are a set amount of elites unless you jump into another persons world. But i don't want to do that. I think if they add in a way to chose a main stat using an item like HSR at least you can get those down the line and grantee the stat.
we need a better treasure compass. detects more items (like challenges), larger range (or grid style), one time chest locator (like the oculus search). And lastly, map pointers that you can actually name.
Having a true 100% map progression would be nice too. As like genshin, you can 100% it and still find chests/challenges as it only counts for certain things.
Idk if it’s just me but as a mobile player I think the screen is either really sensitive that I accidentally skip dialogue or the lines weren’t recorded right and it skips itself. I hope they fix that too
if we could use unleveled echo as exp people would have a max echo without having to spend waveplates because we can endlessly farm them so i dont think they will ever gonna change that
Coming from a mobile player, I wish the placement of the utilities icon would be different. During combat it’s a bit annoying when I heavy attack or try to use an echo that if my finger grazes the utilities it automatically opens it up.
I would really appreciate something like condense resin system. I find it pretty much convenient, that I can stack up my today resin and spend it all tomorrow in genshin
the echo drop rate is 20% currently not 30% and i agree it should go up to 40% cause while the enhaned drop rate is nice that is when its not bugged and actually resets its not enough. kuro never said they are getting a voice director they said they will work more closely with the voice director going forward. as in behind the scenes videos they showed of 1 va he was clearly being directed by another person in that scene with how to do his character. as the va director is not an employee of kuro its an employee of the british va company they use for the vas
People are mad over getting free stuff… but here is the thing, if you were lucky and got your event character with just the free wishes then that’s great… however if you were unlucky enough to always get your 5 star at 70’ish pulls (while loosing your 50/50 to boot) then you are going to have to spend money… specially if they move up the banners. I was able to grind enough to the point of not spending that much money… but it was a nightmare and it really didn’t let me relax and enjoy the game at a more reasonable pace… I was at one point just skipping some of the exploration quests dialog just to squeeze in some rewards. The Voice direction really needs to be improved… specifically for Yangyang and female rover… they sound as monotone as a Robot or Wednesday from the Adam’s family… which given they’re models expressions is NOT the goal for those 2…
I also want to see more diverse designs besides just humans but we are going to have a massive group of people complain that it isn't pleasing them. As far as I know, Lingyang had a different furry design before we got to official release but people complained so much about it, they just made him human.
I would like it if in tutorials for healers they would actually make you lose your hp to see how much a healer can heal, otherwise you don't even understand that you're playing a healer in the first place. Happened to me with verina
I see so many Genshin HSR shadow on the survery, especially on those out of limite waveplate and character leveling up rewards... For me those are fine, they can stay that way it is. But I do agree with the using 60 waveplate is way too much. And those extra echos I just can merge them instead of using them as exp... And the biggest issue currently is the autoaim. Since we have gun characters I know having autoaim is great for them. But when I already close all the aiming correction and using a sowrd character. It still "help" me to autoaim meaningless. The monster just beside me with last hit, but my characeter is aiming another monster that I'm out of range. And my mouse can't even move, it forced me to stay at that angle for don't know what they want... The changes needed in the game is some technical, system issues, dialogs, combat and all that. Hmm, maybe some quest of story telling need to improve to. I feel like getting force to be someone apprentice, that's not cool at all.
Echo XP issues are HUGE, not even a bit, IT'S HUGE. I have BP, I spend my waveplates only on Tacet Fields, yet I can't level anything. I do quests etc as well. 60 to 40 waveplates won't do anything.
Same point as 4:14, one thing i wish they change is the map. I love playing genshin because i love exploring, thats why when i heard wuwa is open world game too i wanna try it BUT exploring in wuwa is so CONFUSING (to me). What i learn in genshin is if theres a cut off road thats mean theres an entrance to a cave, but in wuwa theres SO MANY cut off road that is leading you nowhere and no entrance to a cave. I still remember looking for this one oculus (i forgot what they call it in wuwa), in the map it says that its under me but after looking around i cant find the entrance to it sigh TT Also i wish they put more color in the map for indication (im directionally challenge) because everywhere i go is muted green hshshs. I know they set up in apocalyptic world hence the dull(?) color but theres a contrast between the world and the map. Theres a spot when you can see a big pink tree in the world but when you look at the map theres nothing pink there lol imo the world in wuwa is actually colorful despite the setting but the map is a let down :( ALSO its probably because of my device? (i play on mobile with 24 fps and have everything on low) but the elemental sight (once again sorry, i dont remember what its called hshshs) most of the time it doesnt work for me :( because of this i had to see a guide the route Hero of the Leap mission :( This is only a me problem and its only a week(?) after wuwa released so looking forward what kuro bring with wuwa in the future o/
About echo drop rates, i don't think they should up the rates, but they definetly need to implement some kind of pity. Like, even though maths dictates that yes, even with 30% drop rate you might not have and echo in 20 mobs, this shouldn't happen in a video game.
I wish we were able to R5 (or whatever it's called) weapons faster, without having to select the weapons 1 by 1 going rank by rank. I also wish the healing food didn't have a cooldown and that they reduced the cooldown on the grappling hook. More importantly, I wish the game was optimized better on mobile (ik they've been working on that but it's still unplayable for me so I have to wait until I'm home to turn on my computer just to play 10 mins or something) and that it had more graphics options (both better and worse). They should really fix the camera and the auto-targetting too. They should also work on their localization. I'm French but I have to play with English subs because the text is a huge mess. Not only is everything hard to understand and the text is overlapping but there are also random spaces where there shouldn't be. Also, maybe it's just me but female Rover looks a bit awkward. I can't quite put my finger on it but male Rover looks more natural than she does. It kinda makes me wish I had picked male Rover instead.
Personally for me, I think some of the changes Bran mentioned aren’t THAT important to add so soon? The game came out a week ago and we’ve been experiencing a bunch of bugs of glitches and they’re focusing on that (I’m assuming). So things like music, and shinies, etc, it’s not something that SHOULD be a high demand right now. The one thing I will add (speaking of shinies), I didn’t realize I had beaten a shiny til like an hour after fighting the echo. So similar to Pokemon Legends Arceus, maybe add some sort of sound that distinguishes a normal and a shiny for those who don’t even realize it’s a shiny due to them just exploring. But even though I, personally, don’t think most of these are big things that really NEED to be addressed, I’m also seeing it from the point of view where, we’ve been waiting for at least a year for this game to be released and that’s including our beta playing too. They’ve had WAY MORE than enough time to implement certain QoL things to make a bigger impact for us. I’m LOVING this game, and sure maybe if I REALLY wanna be picky, I can mention more, but I can still see Bran’s point of view (as well as others) where certain changes would make the game better and I’ll definitely appreciate them: Adding echos as leveling materials, making shinies not guaranteed in some spots and maybe a couple others. I think we should just lower our expectations while hoping for the best and just enjoy the game. Because it is massively awesome right now. But that’s just me.
For me the big issue with the voices is actually the mixing. Yangyang's dialog in particular sounds like they made her actor speak really softly and then cranked the compression up for an almost "ASMR" effect.
I agree with everything you've said! Except you forgot one thing... give us the option to turn off Bloom or whatever the setting that is making certain objects (metal, sun, mirror etc) so *BRIGHT* which is blinding my eyes. Yes, I'm one of those "I hate Bloom setting" gamer as sometime it make places like lobby, villages, forests and city etc looks nice, until you end up in games like Warframe and Wuthering Waves with fluid action combat + tons of special effects with Bloom setting on... not fun.
All very good suggestions and now that you mention them I thought the game had most of them already (as genshin clone) but now that it dont it needs to be added.
2:28 The game has not run like butter on my 2080 graphics card. I have to wait a minute every time I load in or teleport anywhere for the lag spikes to calm down. It has been particularly bad when I'm in the middle of a boss fight and it suddenly decides to have a seizure. What little of the game I've played I do like but I'm going to have to wait until they fix their lag problems.
For players there who uses POTATO devices, a downgraded graphic requirement is a MUST, this is a huge pickup for KURO since majority of the player base are BUDGET gamers. IGPUs struggles a in 1080p even in 720p reso
I've dropped Genshin for Wuwa's combat. But having like 2000 lvl1 echoes because i cant lvl them is pretty annoying. Most i can do is turn 5 of them to 1 echo.
To me the biggest problem was the music bug and how it can affect the story for some people. I finished the story yesterday (took my time) and enjoyed it thorougly. Instead of Scar, to me it was Act 4 with Aalto and Encore that made the whole story feel enjoyable and interesting (we finally got answers). So it came to me as quite a disappointment when I looked for playthrough footage on youtube only to discover that due to the audio bug, many other players did not experience the GOATED music that played during that scene... Like seriously, Aalto's goofy (Sampo-esque) theme song is what gave 50% of the enjoyment in that scene. And to see an english dub playthrough being just the VAs doing okayish voices with deafening silence was quite disappointing. I guess at least I was lucky on my playthrough....
Huhu i would love if they put a feature in to where i can switch servers, i accidently picked asia since im used to playing genshin and i was too late that SEA meant south east asia... All of my friends are at SEA and most of the people in asia is japanese and koreans... I feel so lonely there 😭
My only problem: the font is waaay tooo small OMG there's a scene when Rover say something a bit longer and the font become smaller I can't even read it without moving my phone closer to my face. I feel like that famous parent meme:( In genshin, the longer the sentence, the ballon conversation get slightly bigger. And I feel the conversation each character use the bigger font. PLEASE 😭 tell me I'm not the only one suffering from reading subtitles bcs English isn't my first language
Nice. Imma put all these on my feedback. Lmao but yeah they shouldn't listen to every criticism like how they changed the prologue from cbt1 to this horrendous and boring prologue. I know they are trying to please CN players since that's their main market but still to change your own expertise and vision just to satisfy everyone wouldn't be good. Like seriously in pgr we got owned by alpha in the prologue lmao.
Also with lingyang. He used to look super different and went by a different name, Awu. Awu was pretty much a furry for a lack of better terms but kuro changed him cause a lot of backlash not liking his design. I dunno if the backlash was primarily from CN players or was from both CN and global but I kinda wish they kept the design and polished it up more
@@vanillafoxwhip yeah. Who knows they actually kept that design for future characters? Since we know lingyang is the last of its kind but maybe there's others.
Can we please have some form of union lvl rewards. Yes we have those 5 lvl rewards but going up a lvl doesnt feel like you achieved anything until you hit like lvl 15,20,25,30. Dont get me wrong though :)
