The Bundesliga is the highest-scoring league in Europe’s top five, but it saw some outstanding saves in 2019/20

The only reason there aren’t even more goals in the Bundesliga are the top-class goalkeepers who are more obsessed with clean sheets than Germany’s five-star hotel managers.
And this season, the gloved guardians were once again at the top of their game. Incredible reflexes, bold blocks and flying fingertip saves all frustrated forwards with the likes of Manuel Neuer and Roman Bürki the bane of Bundesliga strikers’ lives. Why do you guys keep putting that save from Yann Sommer in the top save videos? It is not a great save, it's just an error which he barely managed to correct. On any other day he would have just saved it normally and it would never even come close to being his best save of the season.
