They should consider refilming the pakmule scout trunk since they smashed the tailgate and then showed the thing dragging on the ground while driving. Not exactly an incentive to purchase. hahahaha!
First thing I thought too! I had a kid wreck my tailgate putting a pallet of wood pellets in once. He put it partway in and put the forks down planning to backup and get another grab at it. It must have been a bit less than halfway in because when he backed up, both of the tailgate cables snapped and it tipped off the back of the truck and tacoed the tailgate! We went inside and the owner google the price of a new tailgate and the hardware it needed and paid me cash! I told him that's WAY more than what it's worth, but he insisted. I think he was just glad no one got hurt. It was just a beater work truck so I "reconfigured" it with a 5lb sledge hammer and a bit of welding when I got home. I still buy my wood pellets from the same place. The forklift kid still jokes about it. "When are getting that new tailgate?" Me:"Never! Your just gonna smash it up again" ;)
Love the Hitch n Sit guy winding up a fishing spinning rod upside down. With that oversight in marketing I wonder what oversight was done by engineering and manufacturing. Lots of these items are just old products having been spiffed up and then marketed slickly.
The problems with things like the TyreSwing are that a tow hitch received is designed primarily for longitudinal load (with a small downward bias). It isn’t designed to torsional load and any load that isn’t directly in-line with the vertical axis of the hitch will rock from side-to-side and may damage the hitch receiver. Also, most vehicles can only support between 75kg-150kg down ball weight. Some larger vehicles can carry up to 350kg, but they are not common.
Casey Ladelle has a similar system to the tire swing. he has a couple of videos on it. its not designed for every vehicle, but even this model they were showing off has a wedge that locks it into place. ive actually considered one for myself already. Also, the things you hang off of your hitch receiver is not supposed to exceed the rated tongue weight. also, realistically, with the tire swing system is going to be used by people with a more usable tire size. anyone who does real off roading wont have a tire that exceeds the weight of their hitch anyway. i think youre just misunderstanding the useful capabilities of these products
Most utes in Australia can take up to 350kg down ball weight, even some SUV’s can take 300kg. However I can’t see the TyreSwing supporting a wheel and a 35 or 37inch Offroad tyre.
2:40 The display (called 'Hitch Demon') is almost certainly ILLEGAL The DMV specifies what lighting can exist. Anything which detracts/distracts from the function of those lights (such as a large, well lit projection display) is a distraction, a great way to get yourself pulled over and cited. There is precedent. If the lights for the truck bed are left on, that can get you stopped. Also, people have been stopped for the lights (usually colored) placed under a car.
I like the idea of the tent on the back rather than on the top like most are. Climbing onto the top of your vehicle to sleep is a pain. Especially if you have to get up in the middle of the night. Like this one!
they are called safari tents and if you are on safari you want to be as high up as possible, down near the ground isn't a good idea with animals that want you for dinner roaming around, reinventing the wheel doesn't work,
The narrator needs to understand a patent is not an award, credential or mark of confidence. Anyone can obtain a patent as long as they have the money and can prove it’s not infringing on another. A patent is not a selling point but rather conforming to someone that may want to copy it.
All these fancy units are hard on the suv and cars ! they were not designed for these external loads, you will pay the price for these sooner or later .
Happy channel! You have earned my respect... Every time I see such a great project being done. You did very well sir. I didn't expect you to have a big, beautiful car ❤❤❤❤
And of course, the doofus pulling the car with a Tow Trailer with no lights on the rear most of the vehicle he’s towing. Like turn signals, stop lights on the car that he’s towing.
If I saw someone with half of these goofy tools, especially the trainer hitch, I’d probably make a short video of them post online to shame them. JK I would never do that but most of this shit is too goofy
And look Gearspace can be assembled & installed by girls. What they don't show is the men off camera directing them on what to do.🤣🤣 It's only a joke everyone. You know funny haha. No malice involved. If you are offended, well Idk what to tell ya. I feel like Bill Engvall ☢️"Here's your sign!"☢️
you know it's a great fail video when a pay loader drops 2 ton concrete chunk onto a receiver hitch storage idea that was started to hold senior citizen scooters and hunters coolers of meats from animals they killed, and then that heavy arse concrete chunk doesn't bust off the class 4/5 receiver from the frame and instead the chunk slams straight into the tail gate and rear bed end as well as the side of the bed with your tail lights and covers up your license plate from the cops which is illegal.
#3..should have bought a chevy, step is built in, same with higher end fords #4 apparently is too dumb to own a truck as he doesn't know what the stadium seating of a tail gate and cab roof is for.....HOW EVER...the FISH & SIT IS EFFEN BRILLIANT...the rod holder/fireworks launcher is awesome and works better than the stake pocket.....now if it came with a flip over canopy ice house that sits inside the tail gate and flips out... OMFG $25,000,000 idea for ice fishing states!
That lift thing at the end looks super useful for me… and i can see uses for that log mover… That umbrella thing is the most useless of all of them. The kitchen thing was cool though.
@@OfftoShambalaI've had that lift thing for 14 years. Bought it for $200. The prices listed here are for the advertised sponsors. Nothing innovative if it's been around for many years, but repackaged under a new name and 5 times the price
You should never, ever, EVER use a hitch attachment to tow a vehicle. All of that ridiculous stress is being forced into quarter-inch surface touches on a standard hitch pin. It WILL break, and all of that tension will bring that hitch back like a bullet toward the person you're trying to tow. Tie to a structural part of your vehicle, directly to a bumper, or frame. That aluminum hitch job will just be an aluminum slug at god-awful-miles-an-hour.
Smh. Despite the accent its annoying how he keeps talking in kilograms. And yet the he talks price in dollars and the companies are promoting to Americans.
