"Fall Of Civilizations" is truly one of the greatest channels on RU-vid. Superior productions of the most interesting of subjects. I wish these were the videos they showed us in school. These videos always humble me as they are reminders of just how fragile our current civilization is. The world we know today is just a couple hundred years old. The Egyptian civilization lasted 3000 years!!!🤯

I have to say, the guy narrating the pharaohs throughout the video is fantastic.

Pre-Islamic history of the Middle East is so under-rated. It's among the most interesting historical areas in the world. We need more content like this.

Out of all the pieces of media I watch literally none have made me audibly gasp and fist bump the air like an excited child hearing they are going to disney world at just seeing the notification of a new episode pop up. My day has now completely changed direction, its time to get snacks, set the lighting just right and settle in for an experience.

I get very emotional when the piano kicks in. Takes me back through all his episodes and where I was when I watched them, all in a few moments

I watch RU-vid more than I probably should; however, even with literally hundreds of subscriptions, this may be my favorite channel. (It is even *imho* one of the best channels, which is a different thing altogether which does not necessarily overlap.) Although the wait was/is difficult, I *definitely* prefer to wait for it to be done right with care. As a former software engineer I understand the economics of TTM ("Time To Market") and cash flow etc. But I believe that over the long term any immediate/temporary losses from a slow release in order to perfect the quality will be more than compensated in the long term with positive word-of-mouth and grass-roots channel support. Plus (and imho most importantly) you are doing a great service to humanity at large by sharing the most accurate representation possible of our history and shared identity/place in the universe. All this told in such a compelling and exciting narrative...which results in even more sharing and understanding, culminating in the most wonderful human capacity: empathy. ...All of this juxtaposed over the bleakest, unfair, and nihistic setting/backdrop imaginable. This epiphany in the midst of a worldwide contradiction is almost Hegelian in its dialectic. ...phew! I hope that made sense. I am a clunky writer at the best of times.

The quality of your presentations is fantastic. The detail, the pacing, and your vocal style make it very engaging for the viewer/listener. I have listened to many of your presentations over the past few years, and each time I find myself drawn into the particular topic, even though at first instance, I wasn't entirely interested in that topic. I've always found that this channel is the best in so many ways! I cannot thank you enough for the accuracy with which you endeavour to convey your narration, the best representation of facts, how measured and reasonable you are in dealing with the controversial parts of history and how informative you are, kudos! As usual, a feast on the mind, ears and eyes. The highest quality documentary series in all realms on RU-vid. And RU-vid of course compresses the video quality, even in 4K. I can't even imagine the uncompressed video quality!! That computer hardware and file storage costs must be off the charts so this is some more of my money to contribute towards that!
