The unit heats up fast and is super quiet. It looks fancy ru-vid.comUgkxl8Od2BvnGbn1ffwqsuFXW0QnmcZgMiVY and can be kept in the living room. It gets hot within a split second of turning on the unit. The build quality is exceptionally good and is safe to be around kids and pets. This one is super quiet and can be kept on while in office meetings, my wife loved it. It shows the temperature right on the unit which is very useful and adding a rotating feature helps to heat up the surrounding, so other people will not fight with you for heat. It is right as described in the description..!! Definitely recommend!!
BEST video for this I’ve seen yet!!!! And just in general really. You did an excellent filming job! I just got the same pool and am putting it 3’ into ground with a deck built around it that will pretty much be same height as back deck off house. A faux unground pool. Lol
I have the exact pool since 2019 + same Salt water system, outside, summer and winter. It gets to 15 degree in my area in winter and the pool held perfectly fine. I had a leak in one of the hoses this year and replaced it with the same one from Intex for $3.50. No rust nor leak with the line. Very good quality pool
@@annmodroborowski5092 I originally bought the "INTEX 26667EG QS500 Krystal Clear Saltwater System". It stopped working couple weeks after warranty expired. I hacked the wire inside it (learned from youTube ) and made it work again, but still went ahead and bought another similar one (sound stupid, I know, but it's the most affordable one, Plus, the other available ones from different makers do not have great reviews either). I'm surprised though, the original pump that came with the pool still functioning flawlessly until now
Nice video. I never set mine up the 1st time. Today we changed out the liner. Without plumbing in a proper leaf skimmer like past models your pool will get dirty very fast. I Just cut out one of those 1 inch holes to a 3 inch proper hose connection to connect leaf skimmer I'll block out the middle hole.
@@shalameindel1061 I actually did the pavers after assembling the pool. The pool legs are easy to maneuver before you fill it with water. That’ll give you the exact location for each paver. I set the pavers out around the pool so I could grab them as I went around to each leg. This helped me with leveling as well.
Hey Joe! Wow thanks for ur quick reply. We have been so stressed out about setting this pool up. Haha I've been watching video after video and this was one of the best. After weeks of leveling the best we can we will attempt set up today :) did u dig out dirt for pavers or just lay them above?
@@shaymeindel2259 I made sure the ground was flat for the pavers, put them down, then checked if the pool was level. I had to dig for some of them in order to level out the pool.
Awesome and very helpful video, we just bought one of these here in Tennessee. Looking forward to setting it up from your video and enjoying the swim...
I have the bigger version of this pool mine is 32' x 16' x 52" I bought on Amazon comes with sand filter after taxes and shipping paid little over $2100
thanks for posting this video, the information really helped. I had lost the product manual, i screenshot your video to take it outside and figure it out. It worked!
Thank you for the very informative, easy to follow video. And thanks for not using too many words and unnecessary details! Too many words, and I get lost lol
Would you recommend buying a used pool? The pool I found has a nice price tag but I’m afraid after watching this video that I may run into missing parts, leaking or just not usable. I’m glad I found you video thank so much for shearing.
Hi, can you let me know if the dimensions of 5.49 x 2.74 includes the supports for the pool, or just the pool itself. How much land do you need to fit the pool if the supports aren't included in the 5.49 length. Thanks heaps!!!
Thanks, I know this is an old video but hope you see the comment. I got this exact same pool for Xmas and was putting it up today, directions aren't terrible but watching you do it saves a ton of time. BTW: On the diagrams 2, 2.1, 2.2 etc. what's with the sizes? The pool is supposed to be 19' long and the diagram says 157.5" ? That doesn't match in either English or Metric?
Good informative video! I'm considering opening up a saltwater pool this summer, do you add the salt mixture into the water once it's filled and test the water to see if it's balanced properly, or how would I go about that? 🙂
Hi..love the video. I'm about to put mine up today. I bought a saltwater system and wanted to ask how much salt do you add to the 18x 9 pool as you have in the video and which salt do you recommend..thanks! Laz
My wife and I are looking at getting one of these pools, but when I was a kid our pool was just water and HTH Chlorine, so I'm not familiar with the Saltwater set up. What's the difference, like the benefits and Pro's & Cons? Thanks
Testimony from anyone who’s left their pools up year round, and during active winters (snow, ice, freezing temps)?…..Is it till standing, durable? How long have you done this?…..Midwest Missouri region for me, and I wouldn’t want to take it down to be honest….Thanks for any input!!!
We are thinking of getting one off these your video helped us understand more how it needs to be put together in East instructions. I had a Question About the dark water system. What does that do exactly and does that mean the pool will he or has to be filled with salt water?
Saltwater just means that you fill it up with your regular garden hose/regular water, and then you add bags of salt (pool salt bags can be bought at any local pool store) to turn your pool water into a saltwater pool! Then you just consistently use testing strips to check the salt levels in the water, and it lets you know if you have too much or too little salt content in the water. Thank you for watching! Glad the video helped you guys :)
I have a question on how much further out did you have to level the area. I bought a 16 x 8 foot intex pool. Did you have to add a larger area because of the legs.
You might have to shift the pool over slightly to fit the legs and stuff but the area should be fine aslong as its level, we put a tarp and blocks of wood down for ours to hold the legs on.
Its a very nice n help full vid. Thank u for your efforts guys. I am going to install the pool on a grass ground. My question is should the grass be cover of sands? Because It looks like a leveled ground. I would appreciate if I can get answer. Thank u😀
Thanks for this video. We are planning on wrapping a deck around this pool in the U.S. Are you able to provide the length and width measurements at the top of the pool in inches? I've heard the pool is not actually 18ft X 9ft. Can you confirm?
Not having any luck finding info about your company on the website listed. Would love to discuss hiring you for a pool install. Where are you located? Thanks
Hello & thank you for providing this instructional installation video. This exact brand & pool size is what I'm contemplating purchasing. I have a question, hopefully you can answer, regarding the best performing intex sand filter & saltwater system to go along with this pool. I'm interested in going with the 16" intex 26679eg qx2600 krystal clear sand filter pump & saltwater system. According to the design specs, the minimum pool gallons recommended is 4800, which is slightly more than 4545 gallons that the 18x9 pool is built for. I'd prefer to go with this one because I'd prefer a bit more stronger gpm/gph flow, more water movement, if possible. Based upon your experience, would this be doable or problematic?...Thanks in advance!
If it rains, your pool will get a dirty exterior. Always best to get some slabs, or decking to put around your pool, that you you wont have to spend hours and hours cleaning the outside of the pool before storage
So I am trying to set up the pool but the plastic connectors for the corners are all broken. Should those white connectors be kept? I couldn't really see from the video if you keep those connectors while installing
Just got mine second hand (pools are sold out everywhere) and this was pretty informative. Curious when you stuck those fittings though the holes in the side why water doesn’t pour out of them? Is there a flap or something inside?
Yeah it’s nuts this year, stuff is sold out like crazy! Which fittings do you mean? The two black holes on the side wall of the pool where the pump hoses got connected to? Maybe give me the minute mark/timestamp of which part of the video you’re talking about so I can understand exactly what you mean! 🙌😝
Does anyone know what the total width is once set up? INCLUDING the metal legs. We have a 20X9ft space we want to put this. Or is 9ft just for the pool itself (WITHOUT the legs) when filled?
