Welcome to my channel! In this video I play 18 holes at Pinehurst No. 2. I hope you guys enjoy the video! Pinehurst Resort's Website: www.pinehurst.com Bernie's RU-vid Channel: / bernienajargolf
Agreed...hardly any crap ones. With the distance he's hitting it, just getting on the fairway is amazing. Was thinking how much fun it would be for the members to see him nail one on the course they know....they're probably 150 yards behind where he hits it!
The driving clinic continues! Awesome work with the big dog. Ironically it was principally shorter holes that got you which says to me that the potential to score really well was there. I loved watching you guys on these Pinehurst courses. I've always wanted to play them and have played nos. 2 and 7 on a top quality sim many times so it was a blast to see no. 2 so up close and recognized many holes. I'm sure it's a very different animal in real life. The wedges are looking good and many shots around the green have improved recently. Nice video and enjoyed it a lot.
76 at Pinehurst No. 2 from the back tees is a very good score. For as far as you hit all of your clubs, you accuracy and distance control is impressive. Keep up the great work
Your mindset is killer man. I love the energy and i'm rooting for you with whatever you choose to pursue. My first season was this year, and I'm shooting in the mid 90s, hoping to get lower next year. Keep it up!
I’m sure I say this with many more thinking the same thing. Appreciate the honesty and personal thoughts about your game as you’re playing. Talking about not being comfortable shooting around others and the cameras…just common problems beginners have and makes us know even long driver champs have same fears/ nerves/ mind set they have to work on. Keep up the positive and inspiring energy brother!
love the videos kyle, awesome to see these amazing courses being played with your distance, one of the best parts with bernie is definetly the height difference between you two 😂
You drove the ball really well this round! The course is tough and you score showed an honest impact of how hard it is. I did actually play this in the late ‘90’s, hoping to get back out there again with my dad this decade!
Very cool seeing how you play the track. I play #2 about as much as I can (just played today). One thing since you asked in the video, where you hit from on the 2nd hole is not the Open tees. You have to go back about 60 yards to get there. It’s near a bunker well behind the blue tees. I played the Open tees this summer and didn’t even realize that tee box was back there and I’ve played the course at least 100 times! Awesome video though man!
Kyle, thank you for your honesty when discussing your weaknesses and nervousness in your game. It’s nice for us weekend hackers to know that someone with your skill & accolades in Long Drive can have the same issues we face on the course. Keep up the good work! 😎
Being from the pinehurst area and playing some of these courses and being insanely happy about a 86 and then watching these guys rip the course just makes me respect y’all so much. Great video id love to see you play some other gems in the pinehurst area.
Great video! I’ve played No 2 two times and it’s my favorite course I’ve ever played. Shot an 81 last time I played it but no where near from the tees you played. I have a hole in one on hole 4 of Pinehurst No 4 which is a memory I’ll never forget. Amazing how far you hit the ball but the short game has really come around. Keep up the hard work. Good luck.
Beautiful game! Just recently got into golf and having guys like You and Bryson on RU-vid is a blessing. Love how simple your videos are as well, it’s just golf and a good time! Thank you Kyle for the quality content!
I like that he takes the time to explain shot selection and share tips, giving you things you can apply to your own game while watching simply for entertainment. Quality
Damn dude you played your ass off! Haven't watched you in about 6 months and you are looking dangerously close to being ready. Bernie must be working wonders. Can't wait to see you on the tour in a few years my man, keep it up.
You have a great golf game and attitude! You having never played that course and where you played it from you should be way happy with those results! Well done man!
That was great to watch. I was really impressed with your driver consistency and super touch with the tight lob shots. Tough course! Way too long for mere mortals.
great round kyle! I havent watched many videos in a while since Ive been pretty busy but I can tell that you have improved a lot. realistically you only made very few mistakes on a course that is considered on of the hardest out there. it was a fun video to watch, I wish you the best in ur golfing career!
a little bit of humility, a little bit of bravado, dedication, analytics/introspection, a lot of power on command, and hands-getting-softer = you WILL achieve whatever goal it is that you have set................impressive development young-sir
Thoroughly enjoyed watching that Kyle.....thanks! Played #2 many times and I believe this course is the reason that God invented beer! I've played Dornoch many times and I totally love the Ross interpretation here in NC. My tip.....take a caddie here as they help you around the greens especially. Love to see you play #8!
I am loving your videos bernie is interesting to listen to and watch and your game is so relaxed and casual. I've just got back out after ten year break and Kyle and bryson are making golf exciting to watch just to see the limits and your 1 iron sounds so incredible that's my favoured club as iam crap with a driver. 😂👏👏👏👏👏👍
I would love to see you play some of the other courses at Pinehurst. I watched you play #2 & #4 but #5-#9 are all good courses too. I bet you make an excellent scramble partner.
One year ago you would probably have hit +12 on this course, now you scored +6 with plenty of good chances for a lower score. Keep it up, you are on a good way!
Good seeing Bernie and your Dad out with you. I noticed that your game is getting a lot tighter. Just waiting for the day they call out you and Bryson to play against one another in a PGA tournament.
Awesome I played it and it is impossible. False fronts on so many greens. The caddy saved me so many strokes. You played it so well.. A 76 from the pro tees is unbelievable.
I haven’t watched KB since the Good Good days, but since they have really slowed down their releases I stumbled on to this. The game has come a long way.
I recently moved to Pinehurst in May, if you are ever in town again and wanna play some other great courses in the area please reach out! I’d be happy to show ya around! Great video, thanks Kyle!
Awesome course. I played before the redesign. The 3rd 350 hole seemed harmless. I would say on those type maybe go 5 iron off the tee. You have power advantage at all lengths. Take the fuller shot in. Kyle you should play some tour stops if possible. I'm sure any course would love to have you play there if you approach the head pro. Cheers!
Kyle, it looks like you were playing the blues. We played it a few days or so before you did and they don't have US Open tees(what we were told) out. They have stone markers in the ground where they put tees for the US Open. But some of the blues were where the US Open is played from. The 2nd hole has the plaques way back behind where those blue markers are. Great course.
It would be fun to see you play 4 rounds on one course just to see how you would do in a tournament format. Other then that, well played! Keep it up with this amazing content.
Played there a couple months ago. We also played the Cradle which was a blast. Besides #2, you must play 4, 8, and 7 which are all great. But if you can get an invite, the CC of NC has two great tracks (Dogwood & Cardinal) and Pine Needles and Mid Pines are a must. It doesn’t get rated very high but #1 at Pinehurst is the original / oldest course there, is a lot of fun and with long drives you could score really low on that one. Lot of good golf in that area.
Dude. You and Gg make me want to golf so bad its killing me. Golf season just ended in Southern Ontario. Ugg. Love the videos .Great job. Nice putt on #2 btw . If you dial the wedges in you could go pro.
No. 7 maybe...heard good things. Otherwise, loved no. 2. Your driving is awesome. And not just distance. The bend is smaller now and aimed more consistently. Good job on the hard work.
That is one tough course. 30 years ago I was a 2 handicap and played #2. I actually had my ball on 17 of 18 greens in regulation. 16 times the ball rolled off the green. So I actually hit 1 green in regulation. I shot 88. I think with what I learned from that round, I would have had a shot at breaking 80 if I would have played again that summer. One extremely challenging course. I personally have more fun playing courses with receptive greens. Nice round.
Idk if you’ll see this comment or not Kyle but I just tried something that helped my golf game which is just not keeping score and listen to music with my earbuds in for me to stay in the zone and helps me forget my previous miss shots and focus, probably not for everyone. Awesome content though, really enjoy seeing you play with a positive attitude.
Life long Maryland resident, moving to Pinehurst at the end of April 2022. Would love to meet up with you if you get down again. Play PH or Tobacco Road would be fun. Keep crushing it!!
Obviously you're not an elite level golfer all around, but off the tee that may have been one of the best performances I've seen ever. Hitting it longer than tour pros by a mile with that degree of accuracy is world class.
