Its the Germans who first send man to the moon, or made it possible, they gave us combustion Engine jet engine, a whole lot of stuff they gave us great men like Max Plank
@@ArthurRobsonlol2332 English did trials but that is very far from using it in combat. V2 was a bit different, they made it at so high cost it made no sense at all when V1 was far superior regarding reliability, damage it caused, price and so on.
I gotta give them the acknowledgement of being pretty advanced at that time and capabilities of being the first to create what we use now, technological speaking.
The Silbervogel looks so damn cool. An orbital bomber, designed to reach earth's orbit, drop bombs on the USA and glide to japan to both share the technology easily and for retrievel and re-use. So damn impressive.
@@soham4741 , You mean the V2 Rocket? It was was completely developed and used against Targets in Rotterdam and London. It was also portable and could be launched from almost anywhere. It was also the first man made object to reach Space and took the first picture of Earth from space. It was NOT half developed! Its Inventor Wernher von Braun, became a director of NASA and was the genius behind the development of the Saturn 5 Rocket which put a man on the Moon.
In a book about the Aurora, there is a picture of a full scale mockup of the Silverbird space plane, built by a European Aerospace company. The design was still a viable proposal in the 80s. The Sanger-Bredt Stratospheric Bomber was to be launched from a track with a "ski jump" ( Exactly as portrayed in the 1950s movie; " When Worlds Collide") Boosted by 15 V-2 rocket engines. (25 tons of thrust each) Before the war ended, Von Braun was testing engines exceeding 100 tons of thrust, and the multi-stage A-10 " America Rocket" was under construction at wars' end.
The V2 Rocket apart from being used against civilians in London , Rotterdam and Belgium was also the first man made object to reach Space and took the first picture of Earth from space. Its Inventor Wernher von Braun, became a director of NASA and was the scientist behind and in charge of the development of the Saturn 5 Rocket which put a man on the Moon.
operation paperclip ensured Nazi scientists were saved from the noose to work for their former adversaries. Yes.. the space race did have a sinister past. The Soviets too had their own version of operation paperclip.
A very interesting video and well compiled, though it might have been more interesting if you'd just added some clarifying subtitles, like 'wire guided ground to air missile' etc.
Correction the nazi government would have flying cars.... Not the people and maybe if you wanted one they would cut off your left testicle for it. Thank God Nazis lost the war!
were* they actually were rather good at the time but even then it was but a mere gimmick when compared to better uses of the recources spent on the project such as conventional bombing it they were more terror weapons rather than anything actually combat effective after the war most german scientists went to America and created the apollo missions we know today
@@helikayuri6603 They had many, many time more scientists than much bigger USA. I red some important books about V1, the best one was written by that English Nazi; as you say, if they made more conventional weapons (jet fighter could be conventional for them) Allies would have no chance. It could shoot down big bomber with i think two 30mm hits... They had capacity to build enough for air superiority until V2 consumed it.
@@codaalive5076 If Hitler wasn't a nut, and had vision of the future of the jet plane, the Me-262 could've been mass produced in 1942. That would've been a game changer. That, and mass producing a long range 4 engine bomber to destroy Russian factories beyond the Ural mountains.
@@patrickhorvath2684 I'm not sure Me-262 would be enough. With money they spent for wunder waffen enormous number of 88s would make it to the Eastern front, as you say long bombers could be made and used, Stg44 fielded in large numbers, oil fields conquered as a consequence, etc... V2 only was consumed unimaginable resources needed elsewhere. I suggest you read the book, it is great for understanding how insane they were.
@@codaalive5076 I'm hip. V-1 & V-2, (& the V-3 Supergun) ramped up production in 1944. The He 280 twin jet fighter (world's first) first flew in 1940, and the Me 262 flew in '41. These could've been fielded in '42, if Hitler had had the vision to do so. The key to victory is control of the air. These jet fighters would have decimated allied bombers and fighters. Maintaining Luftwaffe control of the skies ovrr fortress Europe. That's what I meant by game changer. At the end of the war, Heinkel had develooed the HeS 011-A jet engine with 50% more power. The FW Ta-183 was on the drawing board, ( Think Mig 15, but with a 100 round per second rotary barrel 30mm cannon .M-61 Vulcan was based upon this German design) If these jets' production had been bumped up 2 years.... Make no mistale, I'm glad he was a nut and didn't win. Just an aircraft aficionado. How 'bout that Sanger-Bredt Stratospheric Bomber? (Silver Vogel) A global reach space plane was far reaching thinking in 1941...
Kenneth Arnold first sighting of the unidentified flying aircraft in 1947 was indeed the German ho229s flying in formation around Mt hood in Washington state. After that sighting, the press called them flying saucers because that is what Mr. Arnold said they resembled. The ho 229s were brought back by the U.S.army air corps and were being test flighted when observed by MR.Arnold.
I think germans are still very good in technology filed. All Other countries should set aside differrence and support them.they can make miracles happen
The Jane's Book; German Jet Genesis, is a good read. Details over 2 dozen jet and rocket planes that were flight tested. Also has a chapter on the Schriever flying discs. Said to achieve 3000mph, using " electromagnetic turbines" . Were also said to be armed with laser weapons. These are said to be the "Foo-fighters" sighted by allied airmen. After the end of the war, there began a rash of UFO sightings all over South America...
Wir?,... Schämst Du dich nicht das Wort "Wir" zu benutzen und dabei nicht mal die Rechtschreibung zu können?,... Also in meinem "Wir" bist Du garantiert nicht dabei!
It is the V2 rocket that destroyed germany in ww2. They put so much money and resources in that project that it almost exhausted germany. In return they only got some unguided rockets that cant even hit a specific target. If they have invested that money to build fighter jets the result could have been different.
Whats funny is Germany made all these marvelous jet engines and engineering at its finset and now the modern world today german society is glueing themselves to roads and protesters saying stop oil no more oil 😂😂😂
Удивительно столько всего придумывали...возможно от части из-за этого и проиграли? Бросали силы на все новые и новые проекты, и не дорабатывали то что имели в наличии?
As a student of history is a big fan of World War II I don't say fan but I mean in terms of studying it in college and after. And growing up in the United States having both my grandfather's fought in World War II. But I don't take anything personal against any other countries and then it's been almost a hundred years. But the German rocketry department and everything else was so far ahead of even my home country of America Soviet Union all the allies I mean but they spread themselves out then like your comment they should have concentrated on one thing they should have had all their rocketeers ready but the good thing is is that the USA developed a nuclear bomb first instead of Germany otherwise all of Europe will be speaking German. So next time you see an American give him a hug and say thank you! 💪🇺🇲
@@dionysius1b870 Мне есть за что благодарить США, я живу в Украине... у нас сейчас сложный период, и если бы не помощь Британии, США, Прибалтики и Польши не уверен, что вообще смог бы оставить этот комментарий. Так что - thank you! XD

We are lucky Russians finish them off in East. If it didn't happen we would probably live in German Empire. Americans provided lots of help too but also brought war to Europe after 77 years of peace!
Bodohnya Jerman sekarang.
