Battle Network was my child hood. Live A Love, Persona 5 Royal and Battle Network would definitely day one purchase for me. Persona on the go would be great and exciting
They way you explain Dragon Quest Treasure, finally made it click for me just now. They are doing another kid friendly IP clone of a different series, Dragon Quest Treasure HUNTERS. They are making a Monster Hunter clone.
Dragon Quest Treasure looked like a hybrid of the Monsters series with a dash of Pikmin 2. Looks like a cute little game. I'd love it if we got a chance to try the original DQ Monsters with child Terry or the Mystery Dungeon with child Yangus we never got too.

@@ChildrenOfGielinor I was always a big fan of Megaman games when I was younger. I personally had a couple of those 12 inch Megaman action figures that had buttons for sound effects and I loved them. I never heard or knew of the Battle Network games until watching TGS's video so I'm also rather interested in trying out he turned based Megaman games. 😁
@@TheGamingShelf I never got a chance to play the first Soul Hackers game, nor any of the first 3 Star Ocean games but I did play Star Ocean: The Last Hope. It was a fairly good game, albeit flawed in places. Hopefully the new game releasing is good enough to reboot and reawaken the series. 😁
As a long time fan of the BN series, and as someone that owns and have beaten all of them, I feel the need to give some advice on what ones to start with. BN1-3 and BN4-6 are kind of split gameplay wise. BN1-3 all have a similar battle system, with upgrading Megaman's buster speed, charge, and attack. Megaman also gets Style Changes, like a fire or water form for doing battles instead of just his base form. Then after a certain amount of battles, you'll have the option to change forms again or keep the one you have. BN4-6 change up the battle system with Soul forms, where Megaman basically merges with certain navi's making forms such as Guts Soul, or Proto Soul. The upgrade system for Megaman is different as well. For just starting out the series, I would recommend BN3, BN5, or BN6. They are the best of the best that the series has to offer. My personal favorite and the one I started playing first was BN4, which is pretty much all tournament arcs, with some main story here and there. I love it, although apparently everyone hates BN4, so that's why I not recommending it for first timers lol
I disagree. Everybody should start with the first game, as that is an introduction to all the characters and gameplay. It’s easily the worst BN game, so if you start with the later ones, you’ll have a hard time going back. Everybody, just go by order of release. My favorite is BN3 because of its story, but they’re all great so enjoy!
@@turanx0 Like you said, the first game is the worst in the series. Why recommend the worst of the worst to someone that has never played a BN game? It would completely turn them off from playing any of the other games entirely. That's why I recommend BN 3, 5, and 6. Those are 3 games... THREE. These aren't short games either lol, and if you can ease someone into the series with those, then they will be more inclined to try out the rest. If someone plays BN1 first, I wouldn't even blame them if they never wanting to play the rest. At least after the 3 games mentioned you'll be invested into the story by then to try the rest and piece together the overarching story, regardless of the quality of the game it's in.
@@jb0258 I highly disagree. The first one is the worst, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. It’s the worst compared to the rest, that’s all. It serves as a great introduction to its world, characters and gameplay system. Everyone should start with the beginning and see if the overall game they’ve created is for them or not. If they don’t like what the game is, then they won’t like the sequels either because they improve based on the foundation of the first. BN is like Yakuza; if you’ve played one and you didn’t like it, you won’t like the rest of the series because they’re all similar in totality, just with improvements here and there.
past generations mainly the ps3 ..360 generation... i would usually end up with all 3 consoles ....which kinda sucked since this hobby can be a bit expensive lol....but thankfully now i can narrow it down to just 2 consoles for all the gaming goodness i need ....Switch and Xbox ! go RED and GREEN !!! ❤💚
I’m so glad I bought a vita and the number 1 recommended game for it was persona 4 golden. literally in every top 10 vita game list. Otherwise I might never give this series a chance cause I’m not into turn based combat after ps1 era.
You should know that the portable version of Persona 3 is the best one, they introduce the female main character not only for the gender choice, male and female walkthrough are different in many ways and also you sound like you're taking away value just because you can't walk with your character SMH. Have you ever played Persona 3 Portable?? I think you never played it
