My son is 18 months and he won’t say anything other than dada and eat-eat. He doesn’t respond to his name often, and he won’t point or wave at all either.
What happened with your daughter? I see your comment was a year ago. Did she ever develop more words? Was it just a speech delay? I would love to know an update, appreciate it (another father in concern)
I understand! If you're looking to jumpstart his speech while decreasing any problem behaviors he may have, check out my toddler course + all of my other resources (paid and free) at MaryBarbera.com/links-yt
My 6 year old is ASD level 1 and at age 6 is still not potty trained with #2 and struggles with expressive language. He is very smart. His 2 year old brother is giving me cause for concern. He shows hyperlexia - can count to 24, sings songs, knows A-Z with phonics, but is not pointing , suddenly doesn’t want me to read to him and snatches the books but most concerning is not eating solid foods he prefers porridge. Plays with the food but won’t bring it to his mouth. I am monitoring closely but fear he is also autistic. Any tips for feeding solids? I don’t want him to become comfortable not knowing how to swallow his solid foods.
