This is really interesting and something similar might suit a renovation for my terraced house. Roughly what size are the living room and sitting room in your example?

You've proposed a good alternative to the original plan, though unless the former kitchen was definitely going to be a bedroom, just a w/c would suffice. It might get used as a TV room or an office, neither of which need another shower.

that's a really nice presentation with simple elegant ideas to renovate a terraced house. Do you think rebuilding a terraced house is feasible? To add a basement and a loft and in general full redesign?

Total bollocks, who wants to listen to kids screaming or on their phones or games while trying to relax, the extractor fan on and smell from cooking all through the house,oh and a nice french door to the scratty yard ???

So I'm guessing you're not a plumber. Where is that upstairs toilet waste draining to? A macerator next to one's head at night, draining down to one's kitchen, sounds like a figurative and literal sh!t show.
