Great having a personal camera man following me, I was hesitant on corner entry, didn’t know my braking markers, slowing down way too early. Luckily I had the beast and I’m pretty confident on the power, was the only way I could get away from you, I knocked off 2 seconds a lap before going home. I’ll be back
Very impressive riding, but what impressed me the most is at 7:18 ish you come up to what looks like a KTM superduke GT And it’s pretty obvious he hasn’t got the power of your v4s but boy is he quick! you only pass him when he pulls over to let you by Keep up the great content I am off to have a look at a superduke GT 😂😂
Haha, Kurt , well spotted , he was super quick. Honestly it was really hard to over take him , I bet he must have touring tires or road tires too . Thank you very much mate. Well, I am normally very humble on track and verbally but I bloody over overtaking these Ducati V4 Panigales 🤭😂 especially the ones with 5000 dollar/pounds exhaust 😁. Yup , it’s got superb torque Absolutely beast out of corners so I had to do all my braking hard & correctly so I catch him in the corners & stay with him in the corners

loved the video...in the sens that,even if the dude in front seems to have more power on tap, then gets an advantage on corner exits,you kept your cool,focusing on your own rythm,and it looked this worked great for you at the end.seems to me you were hotter than him on the brakes, and also he did mistakes whereas you did close to 0.i noticed you've been fooled a little on one corner entry where he over shot it,and i'm guessing you followed him with your eyes,which sucked you a little off line but that's pretty much it. you showed that staying focused on your rythm is faster at the end than riding a little over your head like this dude did on some occasions..i'm not saying he is a bad rider,far from it,but to me you've got him on multiple occasions by staying on top of your game. as usual,flawless video.colors are accurate,the editing gives a very smooth flowing video.kudo,great vid.
Wow, you definitely watch the videos with super concentration. He’s a great rider and he hasn’t been on that circuit for 10 years and I was there 6 weeks ago so I was much more comfortable than him otherwise he’s a fantastic and smoother rider, his bike is a missile too. But he knows how to use the power delivery well. Yes, even he said on that day on that session may be I was held up by him a little but to be honest I was so happy to just sit behind and chase him. It was just superb to enjoy the pace and smoothness. Sometimes chasing is more fun than faster Laps on your own, it was my last track day of the year so this was just lovely . Hey Alex, thanks for the nice comment. I service mine every 3 track days and valve clearance checks every year , suspension service every 8 Trackdays (a year) , callipers cleaned every year (EBC pads make more mess than Brembo or SBS) , brake reservoir fluid changed every year , some models like mine 2015/16 need valve spring change every 4000 track miles but later models are ok for slightly longer, you should buy 2018 onwards mate . Great bikes, amazing bikes, wouldn’t buy anything else to be honest. If they allow you to race with the 1100 then buy that , basically anything the service manual says, halve it, if it says service every 6000 Miles ignore it , look at the track milage … if you are in the U.K. John Couglan in east grinstead Bikersworld is your man to go or Griff Woolley in apworkshops.co.uk is a very knowledgeable person too

I know in BSB they are going to allow 1100cc but with additional restrictions, here in NI I don't think that will be the case, so 1000cc it will have to be. I already have an 18 Tuono factory and even that on track is amazing, just needs a few more ponies. I use AP performance so know Griff (great guy!) I was just afraid of parts availability, cost etc versus the Japanese stuff which tends to be more friendly on the wallet, especially when it comes to racing. Nevertheless, thanks again bud and keep up the great content!

Yes, true, it was a bit tamed as it was only the 3rd session. But I just enjoyed the ding dong lol It’s always wonderful to ride with people with similar pace as you well know lol

Can we see any pictures of that bike? What year was it? It’s the special race prepped RSV4 from the factory? EXPENSIVE!!! As always, love the videos. I wish I could come ride with you and see all these amazing Aprilia’s while riding a beautiful track as well. American has a lot of smaller tracks that aren’t nearly as clean/nice!
That’s a question , I think on the chasing tenths Facebook page I will post his bike’s pics for sure later today , when I post the video on there. I understand mate, I think I have seen American tracks with some cemented tarmac too with joints , you need proper tarmac but you have some iconic circuits there. Would love to have you here mate. I’ll bring you along to the circuits once this covid crap is done & dusted
@@ChasingTenths yea we have a few very beautiful tracks. I am off to one of them in a week for Aprilia Racer Days at Barber (Birmingham, Alabama). We have road Atlanta, Laguna S and a few others that are kept up well, primarily due to Moto American and car racing. Thank you for posting the bike to view. Always nice to see what others have done to help improve performance and handling.

Cadwell is a narrow circuit - best to 'warm yourself up' there imo! great video - just pure riding ! was that Karl by any chance ? met him at Donington a couple times ?

Yup, not only he is very talented plus his bike is a beast too, custom ordered from Aprilia Race dept. 22Kg lighter & 30 Bhp more. And he does the bike justice. Afternoon was quicker than this but it’s more fun like this lol Cheers for watching
use 2 gear a bit more. youre using 3th a bit to much.. okay i know i ride a 600 but. and its different with a 1000 as i said the. previous reaction. try to set the engine brake les. the bike wil role more for you. with the down shifts focus on your lines .. i crashed because i followd blindly a rider.. learned that lesson. .

@@ChasingTenths its the small things. i didnt think of.. the stuff i know now well... it would be alot different. and would have a few more bikes. plus a trailer was not realising. the other steps 😉💯😜😜. now its. house rebuild renovating ,. car ... etc. 😂🙏🏻 for the last 3 years
