Nice finds! I have yet to find an arrowhead. I keep looking in shoals when I kayak. It was nice to see the old Stone House. That’s one of the oldest standing dwellings in Kanawha Valley and is likely older than the 1810 date given.
This is a really well done episode, from the music to the history to the finds! Bravo guys! Congrats to Chad on his oldest find ever, how amazing is that! You said it to 30 years to get that house built, imagine that, now they are throwing houses up in a week or a few days. But you take a look at those old 200 plus year old houses that are still standing because they were built right. Keep up the great work you two!
We hear they quaried the stone nearby. Those were some fairly large blocks as well! That property is huge! Isaac found a silver half dollar there a few years before we did youtube!
Hi , another good video and interesting finds especially the notched arrow head that's a top pocket find 💯 , hope all is good with you best wishes and good luck ATB Rob 🙋♂👍
How did you take the heat? Two great finds! I wonder if they're aren't a lot of artifacts in Blount. A lot of Civil War activity there and the creeks might have arrowheads nearby.
We did ok, this was recorded right before the heatwave came. There's probably more there, it's a big property! We may go back in the fall. Makes for easier detecting!
We have detected this place more in the past and this time just didn't hit much as far as good finds. That arrowhead was extreeemely random. We ha e found large silver coin spills here before out channel started though. The owners found trimes by just tilling up the dirt! We have detected here maybe 5 times so far.
