Talented guitar player, for sure. I do so love Voices Carry, I feel like What About Love showcases their talent more so. Such awesome music. Thank you for your contribution to the soundtrack of my fond memories, Robert.

Your talent is Amazing

This is so great, thanks to Robert and Ben! I'm a huge TT fan and especially a RH fan, his guitar playing on all the great TT songs is so stellar and a significant reason why the songs are so good (guitar solo on What About Love). I'm a Boston native, so I knew most of the ins-and-out of the amazing Til Tuesday success story. But MTV and other sources never had the real inside info like Robert shares here. And by the way, the last time I heard a RH interview was around 1986 on WBCN (pretty sure by Ken Shelton). So this interview is long overdue and really fascinating to me, especially to fill in the details. Like the story of RH meeting AM at a party, which I knew, but SO EXTRA COOL that it was held by Scruffy the Cat (a pretty good rock band from Boston). I was just a tad too young to get into the clubs and see them back around 83-87. I did finally catch TT at the Paradise on NYE 1988, but that was a bit too late, and RH had departed. So that's a big regret, and I still go to a TT online fan site every now and then that has some boot leg material from those days, which all sounds incredible. Like the song Learning You By Heart (not on any album). Anyway, those three distinct sounding TT albums are an incredible body of work! I love the production, the drum sounds (Michael was such a tasteful player), Joey on keys, Aimee's vocals, and most importantly just the high caliber song writing. Wish we had a little more RH backing vocals in the mix. My fav is Love in a Vacuum when Robert is adding the extra you'll be lonely parts, that is just so darn good. TT is an important 80s band that had some ups and downs in the industry, but for the fans who really got into them, we know for sure how great they were. Glad to hear you're still enjoying playing so much Robert. Last time I saw you perform was at the Channel fronting Ultra Blue back in the summer of 1990 or 91!

Robert I’m Chad Morlan and you played on our Demo Deal with Island in 1991… “Not a Second Time” should have been showcased to the world… I’ve still been singing these last 30 plus years and have opened for some really cool bands. Keep Rocking that 🎸 guitar …
