@@Echiio Ironic though since he actually hated this piece. He said he wrote it in a hurry and that it was very flawed. Apparently he hated when people asked him to play it.
@@gaffalstudios3617 We don't know if he would hate the working piece. The problem was that timing farm animals and cannons (no standardised powdercharge) was basically impossible. Basically his vision for this music only came true when we could use audio editing to splice the sounds together.
As a classical musician that has played with other people, the way you are 100% in sync with all those tempo changes and "improvised" parts is AMAZING. It's as if you think with the same brain.
@Alex Tejada ??? I mean I understand the filth that comes with a multi-ethnic societies, but that doesn't mean they can't be funny. Look at some of the shows the Americans made in the past, for example.
@@tennisballbird It was not Napoleon's troops that burned Moscow ... Although it was said by Russian and English propaganda, it was the inhabitants of Moscow themselves to force Napoleon to leave the city;)
Never heard that Napoleon burnt it down lol. All's I learnt is that when Napoleon reached Moscow, there was nothing left and the bulk of the Russian Army moved East
Tchaikovsky actually hated this song because he put very little effort into it, because he was a pacifist and hated the war against napoleon so when he was asked to make a song for the Russian victory over napoleon he was pissed and purposely made it as loud and as bombastic as possible. So he hated it when it got popular.
I love how realistic this is, the guy in the French costume looks like he just recovered from a bout of Typhus and is starving to death. Just like in Napoleon's invasion.
When technical genius meets the unabashed will to make a complete ass of oneself. Bravo gentlemen, you represent all that is good and right in this world.
Russian Generals and Tsar :BURNS DOWN TWO THIRD OF THEIR OWN CAPITAL AND DOESN"T SIGN PEACE WHEN THE PEOPLE ARE DYING BECAUSE THEIR LAND ARE BURNT DOWN BY THEIR OWN MEN.
This video is so spectacular, the raw enthusiasm, the chaotic expressions on their faces, the pure energy that just radiates from everything they do in this video, the effort put into the video that gives you this feeling of pure happiness, it makes this video one that I come back to whenever I need it, and I’m glad it’s on RU-vid for me to watch.
Okay guys. We have to be history majors to make shitty RU-vid jokes. So if you haven’t spent at least 10,000 hours researching about the history of the entire world. Then get out of my sight.
Braincell 1: ok we need to study for this test Braincells 2 and 3: *melodica intensifies* Edit: you thought I was gonna say thanks for all the likes, but it was me, Dio!
I initially thought it was a weird coincidence that I got recommended this video after we were just watching V for Vendetta in my English class, then I thought there are no coincidences only the illusion of coincidences.
"SHOOT THE BOMBERS NOT THE RUNNERS YOU DULLARDS!!!!" "WHY ARE YOU- THE IGNITER!!! WE LOST THE MUSICIAN" "WHY ARE YOU LOADING ROUNDSHOT??!?!?!" "Theres the bell, can you just survive this long men?" "Theres goes our sapper, great." " - oh hey theres the boat:D" "I can't believe we made it out with a priest, an officer, and a surgeon."
oh how nieve of you to assume guts and blackpowder did not exist in 2022. those were the times of the game having like 20 people active. I was one of them. Idk what happened that made it popular but I'm glad
I so much needed this!!!! This is my favorite classical piece. It has it all, thrill, adventure, emotion, sadness, glory, sollemness, and v for vendetta! Piotr Illich Fucking Tchaikovsky rocks!!
