In this satsang, Poojya Swamiji enlightens us that the entire worldliness is won over by him, whose mind is established in equal vision, Samatva.
Our life is interactional. Throughout the waking state, our mind generates a number of thoughts, emotions, memories, attitudes etc. and the end result of all these subjectively is only two - sukha or dukha. These two mental responses are inevitable during our interaction with the world. But they are fleeting, they come and go. So, all that we have to do is to be equal to both. Instead of preferring one over the other, we must develop an even attitude. Swamiji says, Samatva is an attitude which we must cherish, pursue, intensify until we reach a state of Samya itself. A natural state of equipoise.
The secret to attain Brahman is to incorporate Samya. Samya must become the very character of our mind. We must neither unduly rejoice when we get something pleasant nor feel afflicted by unpleasant. Course through both with a note of relaxation, always feeling that our sense of harmony is becoming stabler and deeper. It is a continuous attitude of sublimating everything. Brahman, is taintless and equal, therefore by attaining equality we become established in Brahman.
Through the consistent practice of Samya and the cultivation of a serene and equanimous mind, we will attain a deep understanding of the supreme truth and perceive the divine essence in all aspects of life. This perception transforms the entire world into a manifestation of holiness and leads us to a state of profound bliss and fulfilment.

Verses chanted during the talk: शुद्धो बुद्धो विमुक्तः श्रुतिशिखरगिरां मुख्यतात्पर्यभूमिः यस्माज्जातं समस्तं जगदिदममृताद्व्याप्य सर्वं स्थितो यः । यस्यांशांशावतारैः सुरनरवनजैः रक्षितं सर्वमेतत् । तं भूमानं मुकुन्दं हृदि गतममलं कृष्णमेव प्रपद्ये ॥ śuddho buddho vimuktaḥ śruti-śikharagirāṃ mukhya-tātparya-bhūmiḥ yasmāj-jātaṃ samastaṃ jagad-idam-amṛtād-vyāpya sarvaṃ sthito yaḥ | yasyāṃśāṃśāvatāraiḥ sura-nara-vanajaiḥ rakṣitaṃ sarvametat | taṃ bhūmānaṃ mukundaṃ hṛdi gatam-amalaṃ kṛṣṇameva prapadye || Bhāvaprakāśa (Commentary on Bhagavad Gita by Sadānanda) मदीय हृदयाकाशे चिदानन्दमयो गुरुः । उदेतु सततं सम्यक् स्वस्यानन्दप्रबोधकः ॥ madīya hṛdayākāśe cidānandamayo guruḥ | udetu satataṃ samyak svasyānanda-prabodhakaḥ || कार्पण्यदोषोपहतस्वभावः पृच्छामि त्वां धर्मसम्मूढचेताः । यच्छ्रेयः स्यान्निश्चितं ब्रूहि तन्मे शिष्यस्तेऽहं शाधि मां त्वां प्रपन्नम् ॥ ​​kārpaṇyadoṣopahatasvabhāvaḥ pṛcchāmi tvāṃ dharmasammūḍhacetāḥ । yacchreyaḥ syānniścitaṃ brūhi tanme śiṣyaste'haṃ śādhi māṃ tvāṃ prapannam ॥ Bhagavad Gita 2.7 इहैव तैर्जित: सर्गो येषां साम्ये स्थितं मन: । निर्दोषं हि समं ब्रह्म तस्माद्ब्रह्मणि ते स्थिता: ।। ihaiva tairjita: sargo yeṣāṃ sāmye sthitaṃ mana: । nirdoṣaṃ hi samaṃ brahma tasmādbrahmaṇi te sthitā: ।। Bhagavad Gita 5.19 विद्याविनयसंपन्ने ब्राह्मणे गवि हस्तिनि । शुनि चैव श्वपाके च पण्डिता: समदर्शिन: ।। vidyāvinayasaṃpanne brāhmaṇe gavi hastini । śuni caiva śvapāke ca paṇḍitā: samadarśina: ।। Bhagavad Gita 5.18 यं हि न व्यथयन्त्येते पुरुषं पुरुषर्षभ । समदु:खसुखं धीरं सोഽमृतत्वाय कल्पते ।। yaṃ hi na vyathayantyete puruṣaṃ puruṣarṣabha । samadu:khasukhaṃ dhīraṃ soഽmṛtatvāya kalpate ।। Bhagavad Gita 2.15 मात्रास्पर्शास्तु कौन्तेय शीतोष्णसुखदुःखदाः । आगमापायिनोऽनित्यास्तांस्तितिक्षस्व भारत ॥ mātrāsparśāstu kaunteya śītoṣṇasukhaduḥkhadāḥ । āgamāpāyino'nityāstāṃstitikṣasva bhārata ॥ Bhagavad Gita 2.14 न प्रहृष्येत्प्रियं प्राप्य नोद्विजेत्प्राप्य चाप्रियम् । स्थिरबुद्धिरसम्मूढो ब्रह्मविद्ब्रह्मणि स्थित: ।। na prahṛṣyetpriyaṃ prāpya nodvijetprāpya cāpriyam । sthirabuddhirasammūḍho brahmavidbrahmaṇi sthita: ।। Bhagavad Gita 5.20 बाह्यस्पर्शेष्वसक्तात्मा विन्दत्यात्मनि यत्सुखम् । स ब्रह्मयोगयुक्तात्मा सुखमक्षयमश्नुते ।। bāhyasparśeṣvasaktātmā vindatyātmani yatsukham । sa brahmayogayuktātmā sukhamakṣayamaśnute ।। Bhagavad Gita 5.21 प्रजहाति यदा कामान् सर्वान् पार्थ मनोगतान् । आत्मन्येवात्मना तुष्ट: स्थितप्रज्ञस्तदोच्यते ।। prajahāti yadā kāmān sarvān pārtha manogatān । ātmanyevātmanā tuṣṭa: sthitaprajñastadocyate ।। Bhagavad Gita 2.55 सम्पूर्णं जगदेव नन्दनवनं सर्वेऽपि कल्पद्रुमाः गाङ्गं वारि समस्तवारि निवहाः पुण्याः समस्ताः क्रियाः । वाचः प्राकृतसंस्कृताः श्रुतिशिरो वाराणसी मेदिनी सर्वावस्थितिरस्य वस्तुविषया दृष्टे परब्रह्मणि ॥ sampūrṇaṃ jagadeva nandana-vanaṃ sarve'pi kalpadrumāḥ gāṅgaṃ vāri samasta-vāri nivahāḥ puṇyāḥ samastāḥ kriyāḥ | vācaḥ prākṛta-saṃskṛtāḥ śrutiśiro vārāṇasī medinī sarvāvasthitirasya vastu-viṣayā dṛṣṭe parabrahmaṇi || Dhanyāṣtakam 10 एषा ब्राह्मी स्थितिः पार्थ नैनां प्राप्य विमुह्यति । स्थित्वास्यामन्तकालेऽपि ब्रह्मनिर्वाणमृच्छति ॥ eṣā brāhmī sthitiḥ pārtha naināṃ prāpya vimuhyati । sthitvāsyāmantakāle'pi brahmanirvāṇamṛcchati ॥ Bhagavad Gita 2.72 संवेद्यवर्जितमनुत्तममेकमाद्यं संवित्पदं विकलनं कलयन्महात्मन् । हृद्येव तिष्ठ कलनारहितः क्रियां तु कुर्वन्नकर्तृपदमेत्य शमोदितश्रीः ॥ saṃvedya-varjitam-anuttamam-ekam-ādyam saṃvit-padaṃ vikalanaṃ kalayan-mahātman | hṛdyeva tiṣṭha kalanā-rahitaḥ kriyāṃ tu kurvann-akartṛ-padam-etya śamodita-śrīḥ || Yogavāsiṣṭha Rāmāyaṇam 5.92.50

Jaigurudev!! Every episode of Poojya Swamiji's exposition, especially on Bhagavad Gita, is like a lavish wedding feast, where every thing is delicious and we feel like gulping all, but cannot due to our limitations and wish it could be served everyday a little. Similarly we keep listening repeatedly everyday these nectarine words. Jaigurudev 🙏🙏

Humble pranams Poojya Swamiji 🙏🏼. This exposition of BG verses 19, 20 was so beautiful. Practising’ saamya’ or equipoise to the dual responses of the mind that get generated every time our senses interact with the world objects and being established in ‘ saamya’ is verily abiding in Brahman. Swamiji, the way You have explained it with such clarity compels one to try and practice it. Simple as it may sound though one is aware that this requires utmost sincerity. Eternal gratitude and praying that You bless us by continuing this exposition. Jai Guru🙏🏼
