the prototype TOG had the option for WW1 type side sponsons with 2-pdr (same as in Matilda 2 turret) and machine gun each, and a 75 mm gun in the front right hull. also a K-Wargen as a early game german heavy would be cool.
Alright guys, what should we make for the next Men of War Mondays...we want EPIC ideas! Also, what would be some good heavy tanks to add into the mod for balance, and future release.
I know it's french but what about the FCM F1? Here's a list of super tanks: German Panzer X and IX (no 3d design) Russian T-42 British A33 I'll update as soon as I find more It's not a tank but I found a soviet SPG called the 2B1 Oka, but get this, it has a 420mm (blaze it) gun which is 20 meters long. If you don't understand, it has a 16.5 inch gun which is like 65,6 feet long. Russian bias xaxa)))) It didn't have a muzzle break so the recoil would've probably mess up the tank.
+BaronVonGamez I would recommend going on World of Tanks and that should help you with ideas for the Americans and British! (Look at their tier 10s) and even possibly the Japanese!!
So I have an idea if you'd like me, and others, to respond or like a comment. A lot of people will try and comment "First" or will say something to the effect of "Nice video" RIGHT when it comes out, before you even have time to watch it...so how about instead of that, ask me and the chat a question. Or bring up a cool fact. That will likely get more votes and more interest from our community than just saying "First" or "nice video" (which I do appreciate, but let's be honest...after 5 seconds of video release you didn't get to see much...now did you, trixy hobbitses)
The Type 4 and Type 5 Heavies were actual paper prototypes, but were canceled due to the war ending. The "O series" was also another series of prototype heavies that were really armored. Add those.
for an American tank you should add the Puzzle Tank from the comic The Haunted tank the Puzzle Tank is a Frankenstein tank a Walter Bulldog turret on a T-34-85 chassis with a hull mounted 50 cal instead of a Degtyaryov machine gun
Maybe you could add a T-150 for a heavy soviet tank, KV-2 with the 107, really if you need ideas just go to the world of tanks tech trees, they cover pretty much all real/prototype tanks
And also for Japan, the Germans gave the Japanese a lot of blue prints for tanks, maybe you could add a Japanese Tiger or a jagdpanther. Also they did have their own blueprints for heavy tanks such as the O-1
+BaronVonGamez I know it's not a heavy tank but it would be cool to see. A Japanese apc. The Beatle. Big slow heavy armored machine, with no defensive armament besides the soldiers it carries.
+BlobbyUpHigh wait I got my info wrong. The T110 was a MBT prototype, but anything with an E after that has never been verified. That means that there are tons of paper prototypes that fit under the name. So then, once again, the name T110E3 refers to 10+ tanks and not all have "good armor"
Hey Baron I have Men of War Assault Squad 2 also and I have the generic version where there aren't many vehicles or men to choose from and I was wondering if you are using a mod to get all sorts of men and vehicles, and if so which one.:)
as far as heavy tanks go...well, if you don't have Canearvon and/or Black Prince in for the Brits yet, that may be useful. Looks like you've got most of the germans, save for maybe Porsche Tiger. I suppose, if you wanted to, you could put in one of the early-mark Chieftains for a heavy tank. EDIT: actually, you know...the Germans did capture a bunch of Char B1 bis model heavy tanks from France. Called them Panzer B2 (PzB2): that'd be an interesting thing to see in game for the Germans.
Baron, for the love of God, I thought you'd learned it after the T58 videos. You need to keep those autoloaders on hold fire if you don't want them reloading HE all the freaking time x)
+Biased Sherman yeah the auto loader had 6 rounds and a preparation tray for 3 more. this meant you only had to prepare 3 more rounds to reload completely or had 3 ready to load right away
Hi Baron, I know you asked for Russian tanks but recently I got to see a Bristol bloodhound, which is a british equivalent to the V2 really, first used in the 50's. I thought that would be a cool edition
Technically the FV4005 II didn’t have a traditional auto loading system. It had no loader and it loaded all the shells automatically but it still took a while to load the shells and it didn’t have a magazine.
I would NEVER have expected anybody else to notice that! (LOVED sniping ships with the coastal guns in 1942! But a Zero would usually bomb me not long after or somebody toss dynamite all around it.)
Man you should shoot a jagdtige in the casemate front... however, If you like autoloade, maybe you could find ( i dont know if someone even made that mod) a mod that includes the french cold war heavy tank porgrame, the amx 50s.
t-14 armata. amx-56 leclerc. pl-01 "stealth" tank m1a3 Abrams vt-4 Chinese mbt koalitsiya sv prototype (with twin autoloading 152mm howitzers) the leopard 2 with a 140mm cannon the merkava mk.4 windmaker the sholef spg (spg version of the merkava)
uhhh what? The O-I is already there as well as O-I exp, O-ni and O-HO. and "only" featured in RUSE? Its in wot and tonnes of other games(unless im reading the sentence wrong)
Baron, you need a stronker British Heavy? add another version of the conqurer that costs more points, but has its battle armor applique package eqquiped. because, you know, IRL they would not have fought without that package on. So yeah, get on that. Research it, and stick that shit on. Because it isnt your standard little thin armor. its fucking bricks of death.
but here is my plan.A russian version of the ratte with the kv2 turrets in the back an som like op dubble autoloding cannos in the turret.and you and slick can battle the ratte with this thing.this thing would be the real russian biasssss!
@baron why use the stage one and not the stage 2 as it was intended? secondly the stage one is wrong, it had 6 young's and the ability to pre-load 2 rounds meaning it could fire 8 in succession.
