189 The Reinvention of a Brand: Vidal Sassoon Enters a New Era. 

I am not a professional hair cutter, but I was 12 in 1974 in that part of the Sassoon era of haircutting. I bought and used his shampoo, conditioner and finishing rinse products that smelled like almonds. The finishing rinse product was revolutionary. Props to whomever came up with that. After I left Los Angeles and moved to San Jose, I only found crappy hair stylists so I started to cut my own hair, gasp!!! One thing I miss is when stylists want to thin my hair to take off weight. My hair is not that thick and sometimes, I like having weight. I also miss having my hair cut reverse bevel at the nape. This really gives a minute stacked effect. For me the name Sassoon means precision with attention to detail, no matter the haircut.
