1893 PROPERTY REDUCTION FACTOR IN STAAD PRO CE 

While doing seismic analysis, we need to consider reduced section properties for columns and beams as per IS 1893 part 1.
This is implemented in Staad Pro CE. By selecting the code specific reduction factor in the specficatin tab, the program will run the analysis with reduced section proporties for the seismic load cases with IS 1893 loads and full section properties for all other load cases.
