Lou Zer not only smart but they have the same feelings like us... upset... miss Mina tried to cheer up Gentaro but he is too upset because dad was angry with him... aaawwww.....

@@oceanicmermaid This is my favorite gorilla family. Genki is an unbelievably caring mother. Momotauro is so protective and loving. He always looks so sad after he punishes Gentaro. Gentaro is so funny showing his mom and the zookeeper where he is hurt looking for sympathy, and Genki really looks at it so lovingly. Of course. Kentaro is so much fun to watch. Great family.

Why did he get angry?

Agree! LOL! Seems his wounds were more emotional then physical. Gentaro knows who to go to for sympathy and comfort. What a little character showing what that big bad Daddy did to him! then he gives Dad the saddest looks after. Talk about a Gilt look for sympathy. Seems even Dad felt bad..LOL! I must admit, Gentaro does have one of the saddest facial expressions after Dad gets mad at him. He just looks so pitiful and heartbroken. Love that boy!

Regina VanEllis it’s does look like she smiled! And gave a little laugh! They are definitely communicating here to each other. It just fascinates me how smart they are. I’m so thankful for these videos. I never knew gorilla families were like this ❤️

One of my favorite videos of them is when Kintaro is a little bigger and Gentaro wants to play with him but mom says no and won't let him get close. So he does this thing where he tries to steal his baby brother. He walks by all nonchalant then suddenly he just grabs his baby brothers foot and just runs for it. Mom freaks out and grabs the baby back, and he just keeps doing it over and over. He's being so rough you're thinking "oh no the poor baby" but then you see Kintaro's face and you can tell he thinks its hilarious. Even as he's getting thrown through the air he's got this giant smile on his face, not scared in the slightest. I swear he was actually laughing and started waiting for him to sneak up and grab him. He knew his big brother just wants to play and seemed to love the attention.

What did Gentaro do to make Momotaro so mad? Glad zookeeper and Genki made sure he was ok. Mom looked a bit frantic when Dad chased Gentaro into the bushes. Gulp!

@@billrobbins5874 , I think I had read in comments that Gentaro was trying to eat Dad's food and Dad caught him and chased him. Thats a big No-no with Momotaro and most Silverbacks. I'm sure Gentaro was seeing if he could sneak a little w/o Dad seeing him,but sadly, he got caught. The vocalizations Gentaro was making as he was 1st running away and looking behind at Dad were chilling. Between a cry/scream and Gorilla sound. Hard to describe, but the worse sound is a Gorilla screaming. Especially hearing the Adult Females screaming at a fight. Just makes your blood run cold. I think it is adorable how Gentaro goes to the Keeper and Mom for comfort after showing them his Boo-Boo's. Isn't he clever? He must have been thinking, "Look here! See what my mean Big Daddy did to my widdle baby arm?! I need love and for you to feel bad because my widdle heart is scared and sad...LOVE ME" LOL! Gentaro has the cutest expressions and when his little heart is sad, he melts my heart with those soulful eyes and the sad look on his little face.I could never stay mad at that sweet face. Then he stares at Dad after like "Daddy,I'm sorry! Don't you wove me anymore? Just look how sad and pathetic I stare at you? Don't you feel bad at all?" LOL! He is a character!

Thomas Russell Gentaro is a bit spoiled brat especially from mama Genki... but dad has rules... Gentaro knows that his dad can’t be bothered when he eats food but he still trying to take his food... now Gentaro learn again... respect your parents and don’t take their food before they finish eating.... ❤️❤️❤️❤️

For me Shabani is maybe funny in his rage. His eyes are not friendly. Momotaro is beautiful, and he has a sweet face and friendly eyes. He looks so young, in my opinion. I really find h8m wonderful.

@@winterweib You're right. Momo is definitely the gentle, kind, handsome type of gorilla man. Momo will politely open the door for Genki. Shabani is handsome, rugged, prankster type of man that will drive a gorilla woman crazy.

Oh yes Momo is way more handsome and regal looking.🦍 I trying to understand his actions, I keep thinking maybe it's because he grew up without a father. 😣

twemont I can’t lie Twemont I actually shed a tear for Gentaro. So glad his keeper and mum was there to comfort him. I’m such a softy when it comes to little ones.

twemont Genki sometimes can’t understand Momotaro..... but that’s how Momotaro is.... he was born in captivity... unlike Genki.. so Momo chan is more poised...

Yes, every time I have seen any Silverback either discipline a child-Gorilla or break up fighting between adult Females, or others in his Troop, the Silverback always runs from them after he steps in. As if he was just there to restore the peace then chill them out. Its funny how whoever the Silverback disciplines at the time, usually is mad he stepped in and runs after him. But, theSilverbacks just run away like "My job is done here, now stop fighting!" ;-) Silverbacks are such amazing souls! They keep the peace and order in the family and they do a great job. ;-)

I read that the Silverback runs after the altercation because his mission was not to kill, which he could easily do, but to restore peace in the troop. I also read, There is order in a troop, that includes food. The Silverback will teach that, with correction if needed.

I'm pretty sure they give them plenty of food. Look how healthy they are, and they are always eating something. They hide food all around the enclosure for them to find (which mimics them having to look for food in the wild). Kintaro is getting bigger everyday if you follow their videos. Momotaro just doesn't like to share food. He's a big guy, he's in charge, and he's not taking any shit lol. You can barely even call that a fight. Look at him, he's a silverback for crying out loud. He could pound them into the ground without trying. He's just telling him to go eat his own food like any parent would.

I remember this incident, Genki, Kintaro, Gentaro were at the bars getting food & Gentaro snatched his mom's grass, Momotaro saw it & chased Gentaro to the left of the screen & mama ran after him..🤣🤣 I will never forget the look on Gentaro's face...✌️👁️👁️
