I am pleased to see the clover left in the garden beds. They are good for the soil 😊

Garlic is so rewarding. You can use the green leaves while you wait for the bulbs. The greens do not taste as sharp as the bulb and are divine in sauces, stews and soups

You mentioned leeks. I really like them. They are like onions in the way they take a long time to grow. But yummy in soups. I grew alot last year.

I haven’t grown them before, are they easy to grow?

Thank you for the list 🙏🏾 I'm curious, have you successfully grown 'Butterhead' lettuces from seed? Despite multiple attempts over the past 4 years of gardening, I haven't been successful. 💔😂 I also struggled with growing onions in my first year of gardening. Since then, I've successfully grown short-day onions (Red Creole) during autumn/winter seasons and long-day onions (Texas Grano) during spring/summer. This has worked out perfectly since I enjoy red onions in summer dishes and brown onions in soups during the winter.

Great video thank you. I grow my red and white onions in trays first.

My growing selection is basically the stuff that I use that is too expensive to buy 😂 the cheaper veg I buy, but stuff like peppers and herbs are too pricy to purchase.

Start onions from seed. They grow so much better than sets.
