So, I've always loved storyboards with all my heart (way more than full crafted animations) because I find them to be extremely expressive yet I didn't know they were called like that until an hour ago, then, inmediately after learning that, the first thing I found was your really fun and informative channel! This seems to be my lucky day❤
Love your videos! Great info and sense if humor. I'm trying to become a storyboard artist and I've learned so much from you so far. Keep up the great work!!
@@RobynO_O Seriously. This video is so incredibly helpful. Im working on a small animated cartoon series as a passion project and this video helped so much. I have adhd and often struggle alot with paying attention to these kinds of videos, but you have the perfect mix of being casual and passionate about this, it just works so well and you explain everything so well, I've spent hours noting up everything you said about each camera angle and technique in this video in a journal, it's just so amazing. I can tell you put alot of effort in your videos, keep doing what you're doing, it's all just so great. thank you!
@@gurg6950 that's awesome, I'm so glad to hear that ! Thanks for letting me know that my videos are genuinely helpful, and watchable! 😊 good luck with your project!
an extreme close up is a close up.... but extreme... jajajajaja thank you for your tips :) by the way I love your background! really nice color (of the wall) XD
Hey Robyn, Thank you, Thank you thank you! After this video I'm taking a well needed break from modeling and rigging and going to study every Tim Burton movie I have for the rest of the night, maybe tomorrow too. haha... Now that I know how to study all the different shots ; ) I see from the T-shirt, maybe summer has finally landed over there... It made an ugly comeback here. I think the shorter video format is just as powerful as the longer ones. It's amazing how you manage to pack so much useful information into the shorter format. Are you doing a Rookies animation critique this week? anyway I hope all is well and Thank you again for being so amazing!
Hi Justin, you're welcome! That sounds like a good plan, can't go wrong with watching Tim Burton movies and it's good to take a break when you've been focusing on one specific thing for a while! It actually really helps, once you're aware of the shots, to watch movies and try to study what kinds of angles and techniques they used and why. Yep I think Summer is finally fully here, although it's technically Spring but it's pretty hot already! I'm not doing a Rookies critique this week, there weren't any new submissions for feedback. Thanks and I hope you're doing well too! Have a great rest of your week
yes you can, especially now since so many people are working from home. Some companies do prefer freelancers to work on site but you can tell them upfront that you prefer to work from home. They might or might not be ok with that. Depends on the company.
@@genasagiri6905 I do but I work full time , I'm not a freelancer . But any freelance jobs I've done except for the really big long term projects, have been worked from home.
@@RobynO_O I see, well I'm just so concerned for my future as an animator and i really want to know everything about it . I'm saving money for a drawing tablet to make anime art/comics and possibly try to animate, which drawing tablet would you recommend if you don't mind me asking ?
