There aren't a lot of games for the Neo Geo so not many are truly forgotten. But these are some I don't hear much about! Thanks for watching! My humble opinion...You certainly show a good variety of neo-geo games, but......why did you include Prehistoric Isle in 1930 in a Neo Geo collection? As I remember Prehistoric Isle 2 was on the Neo Geo, not the first one. XD
@@GregsGameRoom yeah Prehistoric Isle predates the Neo Geo system, it was just the sequel that was on the NeoGeo, it had prerendered graphics too. It gets confusing, it's not hard to think that Aero Fighters/Sonic Wings '1' was on Neo as well, but only 2 and 3 were...
I read a thing that said that the arcade cabinet for The Irritating Maze would shoot a burst of air at you to surprise you if you hit a wall, so I guess that was the warning for pregnant women? lol I guess maybe it would be too much of a start for someone in that delicate condition. Very amusing.
I remember seeing screenshots for this system in GamePro growing up. When I was finally able to see some of the games in action on Virtual Console for the Wii in the mid-2000s I was thoroughly unimpressed. Major off-label vibes. Reminds me of the 3DO in a way-good specs, mediocre library.
What?! The Neo Geo AES/MVS/CDZ has an incredible library. From Samurai Shodown and King of Fighters to Metal Slug, SNK ruled the arcades. They were the only developers in the arcades that not only stood up to Capcom and Street Fighter, but they took them on. The battle between those two companies brought so much innovation to the industry to discount them is insane. Moving along... Finally, this notion that the Neo Geo and 3DO are alike in any way is so outlandish that it's farcical. The only commonality shared between them is that they both play video games. The 3DO was an abysmal failure that had a few great games during its lifespan. The Neo Geo AES was such a success story for SNK that it stands as one of the longest officially supported consoles in history (1990-2004). Addendum- What's funny here is you talk about off-label vibes while browsing on a Wii. The Wii has far more in common with a 3DO than the Neo Geo does. It was the industries dumping ground for shovelware like the 3DO. They both survived on their exclusives, and they each cost their respective companies dearly in their aftermath. ;)
Pulstar is a great game the sequel is Blazing Star so you know now. Sengoku is a great game but Sengoku 2 & 3 are better. Just one mistake, Prehistoric Isle in 1930 this game don't come out in NeoGeoMVS is for other plate PBC JAMMA.
Not sure if the developers of the 1st game (Androdunos) were just trolling everyone, the name is suspiciously close to "Androdunas" which is Spanish for Androgynous. I mean that alone is pretty funny considering the meaning of the word and the confusion in the pronunciation of the game 🤣
Prehistoric Isle was not a NeoGeo game. It was SNK before the system was created. Prehistoric Isle 2 was on the MVS, though. Good video other than that.
@@GregsGameRoom Dad is the man who will be the biggest RU-vidr in history. His channel, Dad (formerly Dad Feels), will surpass all others. PewDiePie, T-Series, and the like will look miniscule next to his channel. Go see his saga and you will uncover and unlock many of the universe's mysteries. Also, don't trust Mom.
The reason Pulstar so closely resembles R-Type is because it was developed by Aicom, who are made up of former Irem employees who literally made R-Type. It's hard to argue that Pulstar is a clone when it was made by the very same people.
@@GregsGameRoom And as _BONUS_, the same dev also made Blazing Star on Neo Geo. Viewpoint on Neo Geo as well. They also made the generally unappriciated but solid NES games Vice Project Doom and Totally Rad.
What the hell is your capture gameplay (from a cheap emulator ?) the sprites disepear randomly, it's a purge to watch... seriously !! play on original Hardware ...
