I know plenty of adult women who wouldn't want to go to Vegas alone, including one who has a black belt in Karate. As she put it "The same wisdom that enabled me to get a black belt also tells me it's a bad idea for a woman to go to Vegas alone."
Yes and the reason they didn’t let her go alone was because of creepy guys in gambling clubs. A young woman going that far away alone is not a good idea especially Las Vegas. No telling what would happen geez
@@mitchellarschkussen2162 There are babies born in the hospital who have not been circumcised. Where do you get the idea every baby born in a hospital undergoes circumcision? Since 1995 pregnancy and baby’s first year books have discussed pros and cons of circumcision. There is no longer pressure for babies to be circumcised.
Supposedly Joe was forced to go to the ALERT Academy because Jim Bob found Joe choking the goose in the bathroom, and he freaked out because apparently doing a natural thing is a "sin". This family is so shady but I can't stop watching. It's like a car accident.
I was wondering of anyone was going to mention that.. they are trying to make it like he wanted a new look and shorter hair but they shaved his head to send him to ALERT. Its punishment... they are shady AF
I don't understand why they always eat unheathly. Cans this , fried that. They have a large land. Grow fresh veggies. Buy some chickens for free eggs!!
They're not very intelligent & completely focused on bringing more ppl of their faith into the world to "take over". You'd have to be narcissist, which includes thinking you're smarter than you are to believe you should be bringing that many offspring to the world. These are the people who have strong christian values but don't care how the big companies like walmart are able to supply things for so cheap. I have family members like this, it's completely contradictory.
If they have a small farm why aren't they eating the stuff from it? They come across as being very....hm... I don't even know how to explain my idea simply. I don't want to use the word "fake" for it, as it's not quite fitting. But it seems to me that Ruby makes videos involving whatever is trendy & whatever is trending within dif. Online groups in order to reach more ppl. It may not be exactly "fake", maybe somewhat disingenuous. But this could also be strictly marketing, ruby def wants as many followers as possible & due to the lack of a solid "brand" on the family, it makes me think she's using family vlogging as her stepping stone to her own channel- very basic, common marketing strategy. That's sort of off-topic, but related. It would take more energy than I'm willing to expend to fully explain myself. But essentially, this "farm" thing she's done is definitely not about having the best tasting produce available & being able to make great, healthy meals. I'm not fully 'anti walmart', but this is a family that clearly makes regular trips. & Ruby complaining about Chad eating all of her "treat" food, that's "SOOOO expensive"....it was granola @5$/bag. Is this expensive, yes, but only relative to "regular" types of food - not organic, full of preservatives etc. She really stressed how expensive it was; it wouldn't be that expensive if she was used to buying whole foods. The same granola, I've seen in stores & it's closer in price to the cheaper options of preservative free, nutrient dense granolas. & Really, it's so nutrient dense it's likely a cheaper source of protein & good fats than a lot of other stuff. So, that being said, Ruby is not particularly health focused, she's def not buying the organic apples..so the farm is likely just there. They may water it, but there's def not much work being put into it bc she doesn't value the product of that labor enough. Seriously, her husband is an MD, pays well but money def. Needs to be watched with 8 ppl on the one income. Ruby def pulls at least 2k$ from this channel, obviously they just put a good chunk of $ into the house, but I'd LOVE to know what she's doing with the $. I seriously think she's spending most of it on herself, buying herself luxury skin care & clothes. Which I'm sure she rationalizes with "I put the work into creating these children & I do the most expensive part, filming & editing, so I deserve to get paid a lot". The mindset of a conservative christian parent is.... different. It can't be summed up easily but anyone else who grew up with parents like this will prob totally understand what I'm saying. I haven't watched very many full videos, there's always something that bothers me or is too weird for me. On top of that, I find the vlogs pretty boring, long & drawn out with no real story line to it. But it's a great example of how parents invalidate their children's individuality bc they love the "honor thy parents" thing & take it way too far. I've def typed way more than I intended, but take that idea I just typed up & keep it in mind while you watch the videos & you'll see what I mean. I've had to experience the emotional crap Chad goes through so these vlogs def hit home for me. Also, pay attention to how they treat Chad after his wilderness thing-- they forced him into something they believed would cause the change they wanted & when he didn't come back acting EXACTLY how they wanted him to act, they treated him as though he was exactly the same as before. & You can't deny that going through something like that wouldn't change a person. But I'm glad he seems to see his family for what they are & appears to know he can leave at 18 if he has the means
this is the first time any of our kids has gone away from home, ehm, you forgot Jana, journey to the heart camp thing, that's not cool michelle, not cool
Sherry Luna no I don’t find it hypocritical because they don’t have a tv because of all the filth that is on tv even in commercials bad language drinking and by the way they do have tv they just watch good things like Andy Griffith game shows Joy Anna once said one of her favorite things to do with her grandma was watching the price is right . It’s their life to live just you and if you really think about it you being judgmental about them living their lives
Exactly mtlnash76 - all you said and more. Canning, sewing, quilting, maybe a calf or two for organic beef. How about a clothes line or two? Solor panels? I guess they have lots of money in the bank and opt for the easy way out. What really bugs me is the hundreds of paper plates, cups, plastic forks, diapers, paper towels they throw out everyday. So earth unfriendly family. Huge carbon footprints each and every one.
Seaside Mom who has time to take care of that many young kids and garden, raise animals, sew, quilt, hang laundry on the line, set up solar panels, etc? I’m asking because I actually have a ranch with 30 animals, solar panels, a cloths line (which does take a good amount of time), a garden and I crochet and sew. But If I added even one young child to my house hold I would have to downsize what I do by at least a few things. Probably the crochet and sewing would be done a lot less and I’d need more help from my boyfriend with the garden. He already helps a lot with the animals. It’s not easy. Especially now that a lot of their older kids are married and living else where
Josh was the first to be away from the home for the first time after is SA of his sisters, Not sure why they are saying Joseph is the first to be away from home.
She said Joe was the first one to leave alone and for that amount of time. Did she forget about Josh and his so called therapy to work after touching his sisters inappropriately. How soon we forgot.
It's weird to think that when Michelle says it's the first time we've sent one of out kids away for this long, shes probably thinking about sending the kiddie fiddler away
Lord, my kids got on planes by themselves at 13 and 15 to visit their aunt in Manhattan and went all over the city by themselves and still went to church on Sunday. You've got to cut the strings at some point.
Soon it'll be *19 husbands and counting* for Josh lol I always knew he was a creep but I didn't think it'd take them this long to throw his creepy a$$ in jail soon...
I guess what really worries me about the Duggars is that, with the babies delivered at home, this means that all of the boys are not circumcized. Ewwww, can you imagine the disease being shared? No wonder they keep mentioning rash problems.
Circumcision does not make a man cleaner. That's a completely fallacy. Hospitals don't even reccomend it anymore. It's nothing but unnecessary genital mutilation
