What I want to know is the letter Tau and what was it a sign of since all these pictographs represent things that people used and were able to see in their day-to-day lives. In Ezekiel (chapter 9) HE tells the man with the inkhorn “Pass through the city, through Jerusalem, and put a tav (a mark) on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the abominations that are committed in it.” That’s how HE marked/sealed those who were His to protect them before HE destroyed the city. The letter tav is a type of marker, like you would draw an X on something to mark a spot. It’s used in Hebrew words to mean the mark of, a signature mark, and a strong mark of something. Wow this is so amazing to hear. And not many are able to pronounce the Ts. As a South African, these are sounds we make regularly with ease. The Tet and the Tau also make the same sounds. I thought to myself that one of them could have been added later on given by the apostate church in the Vatican. and I suspect the Tau, T or X which is the initial for Tammuz as the false Messiah. Shalom. I’ve looked at that scripture before to see if it had the word “moon” in it since people associate it with Passover, but besides that, I haven’t studied it. I took a quick look just now and here are a few thoughts: - you mentioned rosh, but I don't see the word in that verse. - "ba-chodesh" is used elsewhere to refer to days within a month (for example, Ezekiel uses it for the 7th day of a month). Based on those two observations, I can’t say Asaph is talking about the beginning of the month here in this Psalm. I also don’t know if I’d read keseh as “full” here. Asaph was a seer, so he could be speaking of the future and/or prophesying a call to scattered Israel. If so, the simple meaning of covering and hiding may apply here. Blow In the month A shofar In the covering / in the hiding for the day of our feast Again, just some quick thoughts without having much time to look into it. We disagree on the moon’s role in timekeeping by the way. Some of the Enoch references you mentioned in your other comment are very different from translations I’ve seen. As just one example, I’ve seen one translation that says the moon and the stars bring on the years and another where the same verse says the sun does it. Just something to consider as you’re looking into these matters. We rely on what we’ve been told as mentioned in the To the Watchmen articles on the website, and the 364-day solar year seems to align with everything, so we’re not looking for full moons or new moons on feast days. Because if it was a calendar command, it would have debunked your entire calendar? Same concept with Psalm 104:19. Where it says "the moon is for moedim". Thats impossible on a 364 day solar year. Same with Ecclesiasticus 43:6-8, where it says the moon is for moedim and is the SIGN for feasts. How do you Reconcile Gods command that the sun and the moon are for "signs, days, moedim, and years", and that "he requires at least 2 witnesses for all things"? Because Deuteronomy defines the sabbath as a SIGN, Genesis defines the sabbath as a DAY, Leviticus defines the sabbath as a MOEDIM, and Numbers defines the sabbath as a YEAR. Who are the two witnesses that determine these things? The sun and the moon. But your calendar rejects a 2nd witness AND many of the verses I quote. Knowing that you reject a 2nd witness for time keeping, it makes sence why you would have to start twisting (no disrespect) every single one of these verses. You said im misquoting Enoch. Not true. You are just relying on the RH RH Charles version more than you should. At one time, the RH Charles was all we had. And today, 95% of Enoch translation rely soley on the RH Charles as a translation. It was believed to be the only translation for a long time. However, 26 copies of Enoch have since been found, and the MAJORITY say what I quoted. My quotes predominatly come from the oldest discovered copies of Enoch, pre-RH Charles. Infact, Hebrew translator James C Vanderkam, who translated every known copy of Enoch, to include the dead sea scrolls, and wrote a book about it, said that the RH Charles version appears to be the most inaccurate. The fact that the book Gad the Seer says that "The Lambs throne seat is upon the moon" was astonishing. It shows that the Lord of the sabbath rules the sabbath from the moon. Which would be why King David wrote that the moon is for moedim. But if one takes the stance that only the sun is for calendation (which the bible does not support at all) then you would have to find creative ways to reject these verses. King Davis said "like the moon, forever a faithful witness in the sky". What do you think its witnessing to? Same thing the sun witnesses to, "signs, days, moedim, years". And my Father REQUIRES "at least 2 witnesses for all things". In the bible, if you didn't have a 2nd witness, your case could be thrown out before the judge. Enoch does detail the laws of the sun (chap72) and the laws of the moon (chap73/74), and everything he says fits into the torah. I find it interesting that Enoch specificly says that the sinners God will reject, only use the sun (no two witnesses) for calendation. And thats what you chose to do. The torah clearly states the moon has a role in calendation, but now you have to turn a blind eye to those verses because you chose to reject a required witness. Rome taught you a solar only concept, not scripture. Genesis 1:14, the very first chapter in Genesis, should have taught you to use the sun, moon, and stars for "signs, days, moedim, years". Jeremiah said, if the covenant with sun and moon is ever broken, Israel will cease to be a nation in the land. The root word of covenant is "witness". As TWO witnesses are required for all things. The sun and the moon are the TWO great witnesses for time. Daniel 7:25 does state that the Beast would think to change Gods holy times. This is the word "zeman" in Aramaic. Many scholars have claimed zeman is the hebrew word moedim. Psalm 104:19 and Ecclesiasticus 43:6-8 state the moon is for moedim. Out of curiosity, do you reject those verses of scripture? Enoch said in all 26 found translations, ALL OF THEM, that 6 months have 29 days and 6 months have 30 days". This is why there is a hebrew word for month that is "yerach". Ecclesiasticus 43 says "the month is named after the moon". Yerach - month Yereach - moon Sure looks like month and moon are named after each other in the hebrew to me :) You approach scary territory when you have to eliminate all of these verses to justify a solar only calendar. And Enoch did say, even in the RH Charles translation, that the sinners go by the suns course for computation (calendation). All translations say "the moons light is for righteous light, but to the sinners it is darkness". Darkness and sin. darkness and lawlessness, are synonomous terms in scripture. Im not here to scold you or try to change your mind. But what this interaction did teach me is that your desire for a solar only calendar has deceived you into rejecting every verse that testifies of the moons authority as a 2nd witness for calendation. And Enoch definatly warned us about that. I challenge you to re-read Enoch, and you will notice that the ONLY time Enoch uses the word month, he does so in the context of the moon, never the sun. Enoch even said in 73:3 of the RH Charles "the moons cmoing out and ots going in change every month. Its days are like the days of the sun; and when its light (the moons) becomes evenly distributed then it amounts to one seventh of the light of the sun. Its head (rosh = 1st) faces the easterly direction. . . .it comes into existance and it appears WITH the sun in the gate through which the sun exits; and you have the BEGINNING OF THE MONTH". When the moon amd sun are both due east, Enoch says we have the 1st day of the month. Notice he used TWO witnesses, the sun and the moon, to determine when new moon day is. But you reject this 😥 This is what psalm 81:3 explains. A kasah moon is a covered moon, aka conjunction, which happens when the sun and moon rise together due east. The beginning of our months. A lunisolar calendar. Two witnesses working together. Enoch 78:12 (rh charles) "on the first day, it is called the new moon because on that day the illumination begins to set upon it". Clearly the moon is for months. 78:15 "the moon coordinates, in respect to its days and moedim, four three month divisions. It makes three months each in 30 days and three months in 29 days". Moon for signs, days, moedim, and years. Same for the sun. Just like Genesis 1:14 says. And Enoch 79:2 repeats it: 79:2 "He showed me all THEIR respective rules for every DAY, MOEDIM, and for every month and every week". Notice here, Enoch says the sun AND MOON witness to every WEEK. Which is why Enoch 82 says "the moon is for sevens", and why Enoch 73 says "the sun gives its light to the moon, in periods of seven days" (aka a week). Enoch 82:4 (rh charles) "blessed are those who walk in the path of righteousness and have no sin like the SINNERS WHO COMPUTATE THE DAYS IN WHICH THE SUN GOES ITS COURSE IN THE SKY". Enoch 41:8 said that the path of righteous light is "the moons light, but to the SINNERS it is darkness". Seems the moon is darkness to you and your solar only calendar 😥 Enoch 73:13 (Lawrence) "The MOON brings on all the years exactly, . . . that the years may be changed with correct precision in 364 days". Enoch 73:16 (Lawrence) "The year then becomes truly COMPLETE according to the stations of the moon, and the stations of the sun". = two witnesses Also from Enoch "when the moon turns dark, the month is over".

It's incredibly technical, and the fact that each letter has its own meaning really makes it the most unique language on earth.
