Another question. I don’t plan to do any hikes maybe one waterfall, will do rice terrace and temple and monkey forest. I’m going in June. Can I make the trip with just flip flops?

You totally can! We've been wearing the same pair of sandels since coming here 10 months ago haha! Definitely do-able! We even wore them for the waterfall hikes! Any issues you might usually have with flip-flops going uphill/downhill will just be the same here :)
