The photo shown at about five minutes, four seconds, does not look anything like the lagoon from Gilligan’s Island, even if it had been altered for other purposes. A video by Rick Nineg shows where Gilligan’s Island’s lagoon used to be and points out that it has been since paved over.
Another Star Trek trivia bit...In the episode City on the Edge of Forever the street from The Andy Griffith Show was used when Joan Collins and Bill Shatner were walking down a street, if you look closely they walk past Floyds barber shop in the background...true story...
I miss them all! I am a little older than you, and I got Rodney the Robot for Christmas one year!! It was awesome! It would walk and move it's arms up and down and a little door would open and the front of his chest and little lights would blink!! I had that stupid thing until I gave it to my son in 1987! I loved all those shows! Back in the day when tv was fun and clean fun at that!!
Some of these old shows were ridiculous.....and yet the shows were successful and much beloved even still. Go figure. I particularly think of Green Acres where Eddie Albert's character seemed the straight man, and every other character seemed insane to varying degrees.
About 20 years ago, I actually noticed the upside down map of Idaho, on The Andy Griffith show. I commented about it on imdb, but I never got a response. Now, I know.
Regarding the glass doors on The Brady Bunch - I believe that came up when TV Land did one of their "classic TV rewinds" when exposing bloopers! They did one where Sam the butcher was coming in with a delivery for Alice and when he reaches for the door handle he pretty much reaches through the door to open it!

I used to watch a lot of singing shows and dance shows and still watch shows like that today. Maybe you can do a video on one of these shows. I would really appreciate that 👍

She was in the movie called “The Beast Master.” As kids we had a Ginger guys and a Marry Ann guys. I was in the Marry Ann guys. Lost in space was a great show when I was a kid.

the upside down Mayberry maps would never have been noticed at the time. Even if you got a perfect picture over the air, and very few did, the resolution was far too low to see any detail on the maps. A more risque example of this - there are several scenes in which June Cleaver's figure, of all people, is shown in explicitly revealing detail for a half second or so. In four or five frames, she might just as well have been entirely naked. You could never have seen this on TV's at the time, but I suspect the film editors had all kinds of fun in the lab.
