Is funny how there are stupid people saying “they don’t understand English, the song means nothing to them, of course they don’t support lgbt, that’s nasty”. Because of course, an artist is going to perform a song without knowing wtf they’re saying, right? Of course. Wow people.
Dani García super late ahaha but it’s crazy how people think singers don’t know what they’re covering. Plus it’s not like universally they wouldn’t know what Lesbian or Gay means lmao
@@narmetharegunathan4143 No she's saying there are some people out there who claim that Twice DOESN'T support the LGBT :P You misunderstood, but hopefully this helps
The fact that they had to practically fight their company to perform this song- please don’t go around praising their company, please go around praising Twice, and especially Chaeyoung, for being the brave, beautiful, bold queens that they are and making this legendary and iconic moment happen, standing out and speaking out for everyone. They really are idols.
Let's thank TWICE especially Chaeyoung for making this happen. They literally fought with their managers and JYP for this. Y'all really make me *feel special*
No one is talking about how brave Twice are to do this performance smh...🤦♂️ Supporting LGBT🏳️🌈is a big thing in Asia! Chaeng chose the song and picked who to perform!!! I'm glad that JYP support Twice at the end and make the rainbow lighting during the performance! They are more than just "idols"! It's about sending message to the society and making positive impacts!!
They're open to mental illnesses and raise awareness of these issues. Twice, Stray Kids, LOONA, BTS and others do these things all the time and they are some of my favorite groups!
@@ashtonhunter4727 ah i was confused because the original comment is about lgbt and you are talking about mental illness. I looked up stray kids and its amazing!
"they don't know what they're singing" Mina can understand fluent english and twice arent that stupid to not know basic english lol. They're really the QUEENS
@Coco Cats IKR and if you tell them there going to say that there company forced them that’s not a kpop thing but Billie eilish once took someone pride flag and hold while singing those homophobes said that she throw it and walk on it after that like- wtf
This is one of the reasons why I fell for Twice. They were so brave-they ARE so brave. They performed an LGBT song while it's not really supported in Asia. Thanks JYP for supporting that!
SurfersSilver SoneOnce #thepowerofnine also Mina singing the lyrics after “No matter black, white or beige Chola or orient made I'm on the right track baby I was born to be brave"
And glad she’s out of this performance now - From a shitless slave region of humanism being suffered under hoon-tribe-originated-parasitism and kiki'she' collectivism which is known as the name 'Korea', whose dwellers always steals and begs from Japan's original history which clearly inherited sincere humanity in Ancient Cudara more than its 'original' dwellers in hometown.
@Smol Little rappers Nothing but the light gossips and mere reflection of the winning humans' movement. The group itself doesn't achieve anything independently. - from a begging korean province, less than a bug even as a whole spiritually, filthier than every single 7 billion human masters even as each things in korean province 'physicslly'
THIS WILL REMAIN ICONIC!!! the fact that it's nayeon, jeongyeon, mina, and chaeyoung who performed...my 2yeon and michaeng heart really skipped a millions of beats
As part of the LGBT community, this means so much to me. To perform this song in a place where people like us are not easily understood and accepted. Thank you. 💜
Always remember that even though your LGBT, you’re still human, you still belong on this Earth just like anyone else. You deserve love and appreciation just like non-LGBT people. And I know it is hard to feel accepted as our society is so close minded and only like people who fit the “norm” but it’s okay to be different. Even if the people around you don’t support you and find you weird, just know that I support you and TWICE also supports you and loves you for who you are. ❤️❤️❤️❤️🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
@@chaeyoungslovie imagine if every human had a mindset like you🥺💜💜💜 I’m not part of lgbtq but I support it with all of my heart and felt emotional by your comment, so thank you so much, I hope a day comes where people realize that yes despite our differences we’re all still human and that we all share a home on earth and should treat each other with beautiful kindness rather than hatefulness
"they don't know what they are saying" Mina is fluent in English and Language is part of the Idol Training Process. JYP teaches trainees Korean, Japanese and English as their basic language. Chaeyoung wouldn't fight with her managers if she just like the beat of the song.
Besides reading a language is a lot easier than speaking it. People can often read and understand a foreign language better than they can speak it. Their English is good enough for them to be able to read and comprehend English song lyrics.
Radamenti maybe she was doing the kpop idol thing where they tone down their choreo so they can sing more stable live?? idk but that makes the most sense to me
jeongyeon's voice vocal is awesome and look at her body promotions stylist still gives her bad clothes all we need is to wear the clothes in this performance
Leaving the lyrics as they are was 100% done knowingly, with how the industry is nowadays JYP wouldn't just let a song slip through without THOROUGH check of the lyrics and everything else, therefore meaning they all knew exactly what they were singing and had no problem with it
This performance is more special for me as Chaeng is right here performing this song. She has been supporting LGBT since pre debut/debut and now she even has the chance to voice it out more~ 👏🌈💜
Giancarlo Figueroa ok legit, I’m gay and I’ve never seen two guys slap they’re dingalings together 😂 they stick it up the butt hunni. Either that or they do oral. I would speak out for my lesbian sisters too but I don’t rly know much about lesbian sex
@@aysudamohammadi3556 idk but Chaeyoung actually fought with the company to be able to perform this stage and she's the one who chose the members that will perform with her too 👑 (I'm not sure who she fought with tho, maybe the company or the manager/staff)
Twice means everything to me and them performing this make me cry because they are showing that they care about the lgbtq+ community and I’m bi and had a little of a hard coming out story.
Nayeon's high notes Jeongyeon's charisma and vocals Mina's deep voice, powerful dance and visuals Chaeyoung's rap and confident This is my favorite stage this day
Nayeon: Main Vocalist, Rapper, Center, Face of the Group Jeongyeon: Leader, Lead Vocalist Mina: Lead Vocalist, Visual Chaeyoung: Main Rapper, Vocalist, Maknae
Jeongyeon looks the thickest here and I love it. She is body goals and her voice is gold. This type of song suits her. I also like Mina's first part, her voice sounded powerful as opposed to her usual soft voice. Nayeon and Chaeyoung also did well as usual. This an amazing subunit and great performance!
People seem to forget that Chaeyoung was one of the biggest threats for the other girls during Sixteen. She writes her own raps, she's a stable singer, she has stage presence and she's a good dancer. She really deserves MORE appreciation she has everything (well maybe except jokes @). visual, rap, vocal, acting, charisma, other talents (drawing, songwritting, etc). she can pull off both sexy and cute concept. please open your eyes for Son Chaeyoung.. What I don’t think people realise whether they watched Sixteen or not, Chaeyoung was definitely the most talented, now it’s all fun and games because they’ve debuted but back in the competition Chaeyoung stayed in Major for the longest and everyone was afraid to take her on and pretty much only lost to Jihyo, barely. JYP said she would’ve won if it was anyone else but Jihyo..she’s pretty much the 2nd best out of 16 really talented people.. she's more confident when she rap fast,, if twice was given a song where chaeyoung could REALLY, REALLY rap, she would SMOKE a lot of the female rappers in the 3rd gen. no question.
Just… The fact that Nayeon said the words gay, straight, bi, lesbian, transgender.. the fact that Mina sad black, white and beige.. saying we deserve equality, self-love, and pride for ourselves and our culture all while smiling so brightly… even that makes me tear up. I’ve known about Kpop for a while, and every single thing I’ve seen reminds me of how hard this must have been. Asia is conservative in every way. And although I know Koreas getting better at this (at least that’s what I’ve heard) my country Pakistan, my half Pakistani family, other desi people in my life, the area I live in surrounded by mostly Mormons… they wouldn’t accept me for who I am. They don’t accept the music, the colors, the people, the shows, media… All of it. It’s just not their way of living. And I know that and it’s something I have to accept in my life, something I’m bound to live with. Yet I’m still afraid.… So many have had it worse. My situation is easy, comparatively. And I’m still afraid… But, Twice… they weren’t afraid. Chaeyoung, FOUGHT to preform this. They BELTED these lyrics out, they clapped along, they hollered, they PREFORMED as hard as they could because that’s just the message they WANT to convey. Love yourself. Have the courage to love yourself. I don’t know if they received backlash, from the public or their own company.. but either way it was fucking BRAVE to say the least. I mean.. they’re not even (presumably) in the community, (at least to the public’s eye) and THEY are telling the world how proud you should be. Why can’t I do that? Why can’t so many? We should be PROUD. Everyone be PROUD. Twice wants you to be. I want you to be. You must for the state of the rest of your LIFE, be proud. That’s possibly only 70-100 summers total, 70-100 birthdays, 25,550-36,500 DAYS, some of which are already spent. How can you waste that precious life not loving. How can you live through every day not screaming from the rooftops, “I have a girlfriend/boyfriend!” “Im a woman/man!” “I am who I am!” Despite the condition of the laws in your country. Despite the difficulties with family that may occur, be proud. If you can’t express it outwardly, express it inwardly at the very least. … Twice (and Dreamcatcher for me hehe) are like a safe pair of arms to rush into. They’re the four walls that keep the warmth inside. They love unconditionally. (And as a side note, I hope they LOVE THEMSELVES unconditionally as well. I hope they feel comfortable until their sweet lives pass. Life has its ups and downs, it’s inevitable, so I hope they can always get through it. With each other, staff, friends, family.. whoever it is that makes them feel good.) Life has its ups and downs but at least we have Twice, Once’s. And for the Somnies, at least we have Dreamcatcher. They love us so why shouldn’t we love ourselves as well? My end message is; Please. Always. Only love. “Just love. I want you to love bravely” -Yeh Shuhua(gidle)
@@joker-chaeayoungyoungwild5658 let her have her opinion too, i personally don't like fans shipping idol with other idols, they are all like sisters, imagine dating your sister, why are people so interested in idols love life, STOP AND LET THEM DO WHATEVER THEY WANT

Nayeon said the unit reminds her of SIXTEEN days.. maybe when najeongmi+chaeryeong performed together.. But they really looks like SIXTEEN era.. I see jeong's APPLAUSE dance I see pretty RAPSTAR chaeng I see mina channeling her SHARON voice Well Nayeon's been consistent but i love how stable she sounds ♥
No disrespect but all I want is an explanation of the meaning of the song please. From what I've heard, the song mentions god, so I want to know what kind of god is the writer is referring to because if it's the Christian God, then he doesn't support transgender etc. Etc. She also says god makes no mistakes... So could you shed some light on the matter please ?
