1937 Canadian Pacific Royal Hudson Locomotive #2839:
#2839 was built by Montreal Locomotive Works and is resplendent in its Royal maroon, gold leaf, gloss black and brushed stainless steel livery, and is a testament to the grand era of steam locomotive engineering. The Hudson type is a 4-6-4 wheel arrangement and was a high-speed passenger locomotive with a top speed of 90 mph.
1912 Pullman Private Car #100 California:
Custom built by Pullman in Chicago, Illinois for Clara Baldwin Stocker the eldest Daughter of local Pioneer "Lucky" Baldwin. This railcar has been beautifully restored back to 1912

Did this tour last month . It is most outstanding . If you like trains and cars get out and see this place. I spent 4+ hours here . The car collection is beyond belief.

Absolutely! And the main building is free so how could you not? I have a couple videos on the car collection. Still thinking about showing the music room, which is amazing, but not sure if I have enough good footage.

IT LOOKS PERFECT! I love how they re painted her from her original red collor to the blue one! 2850 (her sister) was painted in this color when queen elizabeth and king charles (I think that it was charles) were making a canadian tour, 2850 was choosen to pull the special train by canadian pacific. In the train, queen elizabeth and king charles ere in the train.

Awesome info! I didn't know any of this but love learning new things. I just thought this was a great museum and went to check it out. I love old trains even though I don't know much about them. The museum and train are completely free to visit which makes this a can't miss. Thanks for watching!

Did they repaint the locomotive purple?

Sorry for the late correction. Someone else just mentioned to me that yes, in fact, it was! They said it matches the sister locomotive and the passenger car which is pretty cool.

Was the Locomotive painted from red to purple to match the passenger car?
