Sisters of St. Joseph are in a hurry to knock down this beautiful historic structure. No one knows why but many Catholics in town are upset about this choice. As you can see, the building is in amazing shape and just months prior was clean.
Built in 1915 with money donated by Wichita citizens after the previous convent burned down. Was in use from 1915 through at least 2021. No structural damage, no roof leaks, no foundation problems.
