1920s Otis-Pifre elevator (2020s mod) - Place Bellecour, Lyon, France 

This elevator is located in the middle of a beautiful 19th-century staircase. The original cab and shaft blends well with the rest of the building. Unfortunately, the building owners chose the worst modern equipment to modernize this lift: ugly Sodimas fixtures, and painfully slow controller.
This elevator may have been modernized a first time in the 1970s-80s, I have no idea about what was there before the 2020s mod.
