Lloyd C. Greene's 1922 article went viral at the time, spawning a multitude of DIY radio people to order parts and kits to produce this incredible Regenerative Receiver. Since the Regen Patent's prevented Mr. Greene from selling a completed set, it didn't stop Chelsea Radio Company from capitalizing on their license. So in 1923 the Lloyd C. Greene Concert Receiver entered the retail world with fully completed sets. I was able to find two sets and using parts and pieces from both, I was able to piece together one good radio. I was able to match the original paint on the metal case, and rebuild both rheostats to make it operational again. As always we will take it through it's paces and you will hear the fully operational restoration in the end.
