@@RustyRescues I had just left school at 16 and my father secured me a job on a farm near his construction site, he had filled the farmers valley with spoil from several tunnels. My dream was being a farmer my fathers was I follow him into construction even though he was a farmers son and his brother ran the family farm, I spent holidays there and that's where my love of farming started. . Un be know to me he told the farmer to give me a rough time, which he did. So I had the oldest tractor. there were 13 in all a Massey Ferguson 65, the rest were Fordson Majors from 5 to 1 year old. except mine now I'm guessing it was also a major as UK Ford used names rather than numbers but hey that was a long time ago.

Thank you! I have 13 of them, and after being called out by a friend on my lack of Fordson content here, I will be trying to do more videos on them in the future.

The wheels / tires are from the 1930's, the mower was an aftermarket kit available in the 20's, the Ferguson Duplex hitch / plow system was designed and sold by Harry Ferguson of Ferguson plows as a dealer option / kit, and the magneto kits were aftermarket and also, I believe, available in the 20's. The Ferguson duplex hitch was the predecessor of the 3 point hitch, which was also designed by Harry Ferguson to overcome the lack of draft control which plagued the duplex system.

It is designed to start on gasoline, and run on kerosene.
